With Translator you can translate your shop in multiple languages and reach new markets.

What you can translate:
- Block contents: useful for translating your storefront static content. You might use them to translate a button's text, a paragraph on a page, your shop's tagline or any other piece of content you wish.
- Products: translate your shop products in multiple languages.
- Collections: Custom Collections you have created in your store's Shopify admin panel.
- Pages: Translate your shop page content.
How?
We provide a backoffice where you can define locales for your store and manage all the tranlation content.
There is a special javascript code that needs to be installed in the theme in order to switch languages and manage what locale the site user is using.
There's also tags you need to insert in several places of your layout to show the translations. This requires editing your store theme.
On the app there is documentation on how to do all of this and an example theme.

Limitations
The checkout page is NOT translatable with multiple languages.
This is a Shopify limitation and there's nothing we can do about it for now. You can only have a checkout page in one language.

From now on, I'll use this app whenever I need to translate a shop. If you have some technical skills you will be able to integrate it in no time. Support is really great and helpful, they even fixed my code themselves, just be patient it's a small team. It's still in beta but it's already a very capable service.
For few months I am trying to use this app.
I am not a programmer & most of programmers I hired couldn't make it as it is not giving any positive results.
I contact you more than a week to try programming yourself, but no reply from your side.
Beside using codes doesn't work for other themes.
If you are not ready to help your clients, at least, make an easy installing app that doesn't require codes. :(
Shop Translator is the easiest way to translate you shopify.
The plugin is really well made, it's hosted on heroku servers (so it's really fast) and allow everyone, with almost no skills, to use a complete set of tools in a well designed UI were you can translate everything in your ecommerce.
The supporting staff is kind and answer mails in less than 24hour avg with detailed step by step guide to solve problems.
I'm totally satisfied of this service.
The app is great and does everything it promises. You do need to have technical skills to get the code into your shop, but if you get stuck (like I did), the guys at Thinkorange responded and fixed everything wirhin 24 hours. Amazing support and great app....
A good way to deal with one of shopify's few weaknesses; the multi-language-support.

Great app! Running my Shopify site in English and Chinese now. I am not sure why it s still in Beta, because so far everything flawless! Except checkout page, but this is a Shopify issue... when will they solve this... Hope the app developer will continue to further develop this App, becoz it s really awesome. Eg, would be cool to have multi-lingual Blog support. Cheers, Frans
Great app and fantastic support. Though, it is still in beta it works flawlessly with our store (Italiano and English). Totally worth the time and money!
Because of Shop Translator I became master of liquid. Why? Because without programming skill, you cannot use this app. However if you know what you are doing this is great solution! We really needed to have English and French website and it is almost done. I am very happy so far.
A long awaited plug in for Shopify.
But I'm not much of a coder and can't sort the implementation out. You do need some programming/HTML/CSS insight to get this...
I just looked at the Teresa Alecrim example and it actually looks awesome and flawlessly switches between languages. Very cool. We are considering it for our site in German.
I checked Teresa Alecrim link, then clicked on pt for Portuguese local, but the site still shows in English.
