Overview
Xporter is a web-based solution that enables you to export your store's data in customizable spreadsheet format.
With this app you can export:
- Orders with line-item properties and cart attributes
- Customers
- Products
- Blogs and Articles
- Sales statistics
The spreadsheet based reports you export are saved on our servers for your convenience and can be emailed to you.
Customization
Reports are generated according to a template you specify, and only contain the information you want, in the format you want. With our easy-to-use tool, you can automatically rename, and reorder all the attributes you need in your report, allowing you to customize your spreadsheets so that they fit with any pre-existing format you, or software you own, may have been using.
In addition, we also calculate extra fields that Shopify doesn't provide in their regular exports, affording you greater access to your store's information.
Automation
Xporter provides an automation service for use in generating reports, allowing you to generate incremental reports automatically, which takes in all the changed data from your shop since your last report, bundles it up, and saves it on our server. We also provide a service which attaches this report to an email, and sends it to any number of email addresses you like. We can also send through FTP and SFTP to any server you'd like.

- Bronze Plan: Export large reports, with all of Shopify's fields, whenever you want, in CSV format or Excel.
- Silver Plan: Export larger reports, with even more custom fields, with extended report formatting options, and the ability to generate reports automatically for exporting via email.
- Gold Plan: Export extremely large amounts of data, with all the bells and whistles of the Silver Plan include, plus the ability to create your own fields, or filter existing ones using liquid, or export via ftp or sftp.

This is an unsolicited review. I'm finally able to get the data that I need to create meaningful recaps and reports for our e-commerce site.
I did e-mail the support team and they got right back to me even during the busy holiday sales week.
The only suggestion I would have is to just add some more "getting started" material and create even more standard templates out of the gate. Also, I think making the user interface more sleek would help tremendously.
I tried other apps that were "prettier" but none has offered the functionality and ease of xporter.

Excellent. We are capturing information using one app and needed to get it exported in a csv format. Shopify's reports aren't able to do this at any level but xporter does it easily and quickly.
We also needed to have some custom reports worked up and the support from xporter has been great.
