A bit of legwork with the setup, but so far so good! We don't ship to P.O. boxes and Address Validator helps reduce the number of times that this occurs.
Not effective if the pop up only appears on the thank you page, we still have to check all the addresses manually and there are still address errors or missing house numbers etc. The addresses that this app corrects only consisted of changing from lower case to upper case and nothing more and we have to pay money for that?! If the pop up would have appeared in the checkout it might have been a different matter, but that's only available for plus merchants!
You can load Address Validator during checkout only if you're a Shopify Plus user via the checkout.liquid template file. Unfortunately, this is a Shopify restriction.
Please note Shopify Plus is not required for Address Validator to work, a lot of our customers also use the app for validation post-checkout. Well built, easy to install, app that is going to save us money on address errors charges through Fedex. The support is A+.
The app does what it's designed to do. Only if there are several mistakes in an address at the same time (especially fields too long AND a missing street number at the same time), then it's only correcting one of them (in this case the too long fields). But that shouldn't happen too often, it looks like this app will reduce our manual corrections by 99% or so, that should be fine.
They have the most amazing and fast customer service btw. They pushed an update for a problem with suppression of the address_2-field for me within minutes.
Osmand did a great job answering all my questions. We are now using Address Validator across all (4) of our Shopify stores. Great app... great team!
We used address validator in order to have a 2nd pair of eyes to check on addresses and avoid simple address errors. The app is easy to use with a lot of flexibility on things you can tweak around. The support team is also extremely helpful when I have questions regarding the set up.
please be aware!! you cant delete this app!! after installing this app it will stay in your code forever and you will have to hire an expert so it doesn't pop up at your check out. there is no way to remove the code true the app. 0/10 would not recommend
Sorry for the issue you are running into, but this is not caused by the app. (1) You can uninstall the app at any time. (2) No theme files are modified nor is any code permanently inserted. (3) You cannot modify the checkout with the Basic Shopify Plan (this is only possible with Shopify Plus). Address Validator Plus was easy to install and easy to customize. I had a quick question regarding our checkout, and Customer Support was there to quickly answer my issue. Highly recommend

I honestly don't understand how this works. There is no immediate integration with my store and i can not figure out what is happenning with this app
Apologies for the confusion! Address Validator can only load on the Thank You page post-checkout where the customer can rectify address issues unless you have Shopify Plus. The app automatically updates the Shopify order object when the customer makes a change.
