I was concerned by the 1-star reviews I saw here and asked AdRoll about it. It turns out most of these people had issues with the billing system, which has since been changed.

My experience: great results, but you should understand how the platform works, and be sure to get an account manager. This is an "app" in shopify but it actually is used on a ton of platforms. They create all of your ads, which is nice. Also the billing and reporting is really straightforward.

If you are getting a decent amount of traffic and can get on board with one of the AdRoll account managers, this is a great platform. If you're just getting started and only have a few visitors and want to do everything yourself, then maybe look elsewhere.

Although I have just started using it, they help quickly and effectively from the live support section. A great option to increase your traffic.

Giving 4 stars because it does a good job and the support can be there.. but I find the ROI not as great as other ways and it would be nice to have some sort of AI to help improve the ROI. Doing that would actually mean a higher budget for us to spend anyway! we use it for our personalised jewellery www.annalise.co.uk

Very easy to use for retargeting! The dashboard makes it easy to view my results from the campaigns.

Super easy to set up campaigns and the complimentary ads to start looked amazing! Love the $60 credit to to take it for a test drive :)

This is my third time using Adroll. The first two times it didn't work for me and I hoping third time it will. The user experience is very good, the customer service is EXCELLENT (thanks Tantiana and Sannidhi). So lets watch this space :-)

Edit: Soon after the review they fixed the problem for me.

Worst support I have ever seen. The "team" has no idea what they are doing. I have a problem that prevents me from using the app, very simple problem that they have no idea how to fix. I'm happy to change this review later if they get something done. I have tried to get this fixed forever now but the support is full of unprofessional people who have no idea what they are doing.

So far so good. I had lots of little issues, but support was very helpful, even doing a lot in the backend. Highly recommended.
