Advanced Shipping Rates lessen the struggle of computing shipping costs based on multiple criteria.
Advanced Shipping Rates allows you to set shipping charges based on the destination city, postal/ZIP code, or state. Next, you can tell the app to calculate the charges conforming to the product weight, total cost, or quantity. Whichever criterion you choose, you’ll have the option to set the minimum and maximum values and prices. On checkout, the customer’s address is compared against your settings, and the shipment is calculated. If no match is found, the default cost is applied.
- Specify the shipping zones by city, state, zip/postal code, and country.
- Calculate rates based on the cart’s weight, total price, and quantity of items.
- Offer free shipping on minimum spend and add specific dates.
- Specify free shipping products.
- Specify not shipping areas.

This app has worked very well for making delivery rates by city/town. Once we narrowed down what states in the USA we delivered to (a premium feature) the list was accurately populated.
One problem that is currently still persisting. When a town has two words in the name the app can't seem to recognize it and no rate is calculated at checkout on Shopify. Hopefully we get an answer to this issue quickly!
An app that is exactly what I need. There was 1 bug in the app and I reported it to them. They updated within 2 days. Perfect!!
The app works very well when selecting shipping for Cities, and making rules for pricing and rate, but I have been unable to get it to work for Canadian Postal Codes (FSAs)
I am happy to use this APP, It helped me a lot. The support team is very fast and helped me very quickly. Must use the APP for your store. Thank you so much for the help.
