Worst app there are too many glitches. You have to ask everything to support team and they say no every time. So please be care-full before using it.

Great experience with the support team. Mageworx team is highly skilled team that backs their app. Due to the custom template I used to install this app, there are several problems during installation, mageworx gave us instant support whenever we needed it.

This plugin does everything it says on the tin and more! Caring company with attentive support. What more could you ask for? Absolutely worth the subscription if this is the kinda thing your store needs.

Not only were we able to use this app to work on converting our store to more of a product configuration instead of simple product options, but we were able to work with the developers to come up with a custom Javascript tie in to expose their object model to a separate service. Saving us a tremendous amount of time and allowing us to lean on Mageworx's hard work as a reliable part of our app.

I went into that conversation with their support expecting it to be outside of the realm of what they would willingly offer, or never hear back. Least to say I was pleasantly surprised when their customer support was more attentive to the conversation than I was and correctly translated my request to their developers who delivered exactly what I needed after some back and forth on gathering requirements.

Update--App is working better BUT I have wrote several times about a new issue and havent received any response. The customer service and help sucks so bad.

Now--If a customer adds something with the custom options added, but then removes it from the cart, the custom option pricing still stays and does not give them a choice to remove it. --Not only that, but if the customer has an account and they sign in a week later, the cost IS STILL THERE! So it NEVER goes away until they check it out. It is extremely frustrating. Currently looking for a new app to use.

SOOO aggravated with this APP. It is so unreliable. I have been writing them for over a week and they haven't even made an attempt to fix the problem! DON'T even bother trying this app!

Just brilliant.

Have a custom theme and all other apps could not work in the way I needed it to. Vitali and the guys at Mageworx had the app installed and fully functioning and matched into my theme layout just as I required......all in less than 24 hours.

Fantastic options app that has everything I was looking for. Having tried every other options app and not been able to find the features that I needed, Advanced Product Options was the one solution that is perfect for my store. In my particular scenario, I needed swatches with configurable images for each option and set prices for each option. Easy to use and can't speak highly enough for the support. Needed quite a few specific alterations and support helped every step of the way until the setup was EXACTLY what I wanted.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommended this app as the best options app on Shopify, and would certainly use on other stores I create. If you're sitting on the fence, give this app a try, you won't be disappointed.

Totally agree with the latter review. These guys have gone AWOL. The app crashed yesterday making the add to cart button stop working. Couldn't contact them for hours. Had to delete the app (and lose sales while we were trying to figure out what was going on!) Lost all the information stored in the app. Not the first time it's happened. Happens about every 6 months or so? Great app otherwise but keep in mind - app makes the add to cart button 'crash' and support are really hard to contact. I would try to find an alternative - that's what we're going to do!
FYI Shopify offered their usual response - not our problem! Thanks Shopify.

Sorry to hear you had that experience. I have posted our findings on what caused the issue in the previous review, but I'll also duplicate it here:

It looks like some third party (with unclear intent) was using an automated script on one of our client stores, which was causing tens of thousands of fake products to be added to the shopping cart within a short period of time. At certain point it appears this triggered Shopify's product API limits, which caused the API restrictions to take effect for that store. Since we used to have one queue for all requests, those restrictions caused extreme delays in processing products that are being added to the cart. 

Shortly after identifying the cause of the issue, we implemented and deployed a solution. Moving forward we will be taking additional steps to rework the logic and optimize app's performance.
