The front end app is great, the back end of the app not so much but the support is excellent.
However, I feel it is missing some fundamental things within the app.
1. being able to select all products in a search to assign a template to (rather than page by page)
2. being able to use the "sort" function on the menu bar to change the order of the products
3. being able to see which products don't have a template assigned to them
4. being able to see which templates are assigned to which products
5. being able to set up automatic rules for templates so you don't have to do it manually
When you are dealing with a large inventory of products I feel that the app doesn't support you very well.
I also feel that support doesn't particularly want suggestions and while a part of me understands that I would expect them to at least consider them for future improvements of the app.
It is a very detailed app for creating multiple variants and being able to create parent and child variants. On the front end it looks very good and support was able to assist with CSS edits that were beyond my ability.
It suits my needs on the front end very well but I feel the back end could be much easier to use.
The MageWorx Support Team is learning to more responsive and they are improving their App. There is still a long way to go, but they prove that they are getting better and they are willing to get better at what they do.
I will give them a 5-Star when customer purchases reach $100,000 via their system.
That is the only true test.

The app promises a lot, but falls short. We have been struggle install the app for 3 months. Used the Magento version and it works fine. But the Shopify version is clunky, product option images disappear randomly, it does not work well with other apps as if it was the only app you would get, and the support team does little to help. Their only answer is to ignore requests and push back saying until the next release, which never comes. Other apps do a better job to ensure that their app succeeded and impresses the buyer of the app. Even when asked to help for money, they seem indifferent to even help for money. The self installation is very dangerous. My recommendation to you is to go to another app in order to avoid all the problems, indifferent uncaring support team, and save your time. Even when their product fails, they still charge you. Just FYI.
I have tried many product options apps, this is definitely one of the most flexible. The support has also been great, adding in a few features I needed which really helped make up my mind this was the app to go with. Thanks!

This app is exactly what I needed to add custom options to our products & allow our customers to input personalisation. There were a few minor issues that the support team were super quick & helpful at solving.
Using the basic Shopify plan for my start-up I had a complex set of product variants for my skirting boards that Shopify alone couldn't cater for. After searching the app market Advance Product Options was the clear choice. I installed it and it achieved exactly what I needed. As well as a great product, the support I've received when I've needed it for a few teething problems was superb with my queries answered quickly and efficiently. Highly recommended.
We needed more intelligent options for our products. This app works great, easy to use and the support is amazingly fast and very helpful !

Although the support has been helpful (to a point), I'm now left waiting of major bugs to be fixed and cannot sell on my store. The app will not remove variants from the cart meaning if a customer removes am item from their cart, the options still remain and cannot be removed. This app does not play nice with Shopify and I'll be asking for a full refund.
It's a real mess with the currency change. The app does not change the currency correctly, so it keeps the value in swedish crowns but changes the sign to USD, Euros or whatever but the value is the same. Ridiculous. They say it's the theme, but it's not. Not only that, the variables cannot be changed / sincronized with translation, so your variable names will remain the same, meaning customers in other countries will not understand anything. Besides, those copies that are constantly done by the app create trouble in facebook, etc. I get no support, only short messages that they have plans to make it better. Update: the problem with the currency is not our app converter, it's your app., because it converts but does not keep the same currency, it keeps going back to the original currency as you add choices. After reading the previous review about the changes in Shopify, why haven't you contacted us regarging this issue and update your app in our store. Do so, because you need to update.

We appreciate your feedback and do understand your concerns.
But unfortunately, no app provider can guarantee 100% app compatibility with all the theme elements or external resources you may use. The Advanced Product Options app has a very complex structure with a lot of processes taking place both on the front end and at the backend, and it may have specific requirements.
We discussed the currency conversion issue in October. The app turned out to be incompatible with your converter, not the theme itself. It supports only the switchers that work with Shopify Payments.
Also, we can't guarantee its compatibility with translation apps because our content is dynamic (gets rendered after the page itself has loaded). Most translation apps are only able to catch static content, not a dynamic one.
Our app is a third-party solution and in many aspects, we are limited by Shopify and its requirements, so we have to look for workarounds. As a result, the app may have some limitations, but we are doing our best to improve it constantly.
Customer Service is Perfect. Send them a message for the free installation! It literally takes less than a day, and they do everything for you. Send the Request, accept it, and go eat a sandwich. Come back and you'll now have an app that works just as good as something like 'Bold Product Options', but for a fraction of the cost! Thanks so much!
