Advanced Shipping Manager

Wish I could give this app 6 stars. Literally the BEST customer service I have EVER received from ANY business, and I do mean EVER. Burt and his team put in extra hours and answered every single e-mail, call, and questions incredibly quickly and efficiently. The app itself is also exactly what I was looking for. Setting up everything was a breeze and the app works without a hitch. Truly an asset to the Shopify community. Thanks again Burt and Robin !!!!

This app helps us save $$$ on shipping costs - highly recommend! There are so many rules that can be setup to show shipping methods based on commercial/residential addresses, shipping weights, and even free shipping thresholds. Customer support (specifically Dan!) has been very quick to respond and has helped us find solutions to save even more.

Great support team. Platform is easy to use once you've done the set up. Offers more shipping options than our last shipping app.

Wonderfully powerful app! Most orders from our store ship in multiple boxes totaling over 150 pounds. Me and my team must have talked with Shopify a dozen times (maybe more) about this problem and if there was a workaround. Finally, on the last phone call we placed, they revealed this gem of an app. It handles multi-box shipments of any weight and uses real-time carrier-calculated rates. There are so many customizations. It even plays nice with other apps. Burt was extremely helpful in getting me setup and acquainted to the user interface, which is extremely intuitive and simple-to-use. I was relieved when I learned you could do .csv uploads. It's amazing how many apps lack this feature. This is really a must-have app.

This app only has one review of less than two stars (at the time I'm writing this, although I don't see it ever getting a bad review) and I don't know why it was negative. The interface isn't on Shopify's website, but working with the Advanced Shipping Manager app is like working on any app in the backend. I realize this started as a Yahoo Merchant Stores program, but it works amazingly in Shopify. I could really care less what other platforms it is built for; we use Shopify and it works great for us.

Great shipping app with amazing customer service! Every time I need to create a shipping promo, I give the ASM support team a call - Burt always helps me get whatever I need completed within minutes. Highly recommend!!

The app does everything we need as well as allowing us to ship SKU's that have multiple boxes. Burt from the support team is always quick to respond and very helpful. Thanks guys, keep up the great work.

Advanced Shipping Manager has been such a valuable tool for our business. As we have many different types of products, with a lot requiring specific shipping rules and restrictions, this app has been super helpful. Most products we sell ship within Canada but with this app, we can open up a select few to the Continental US. In addition, certain products cannot ship to specific provinces due to certain restrictions and we are able to limit that in advanced shipping manager as well. Beyond that, we are able to assign or disable specific shipping rates on the product level by sku - this has really been a huge asset for us. Most importantly - their customer service is AMAZING. Any challenge we face, they are always there to help and having that personal touch that really reinforces our decision to put reliance on them to keep our store running without worry.

I am the IT guy. I assisted in installing and configuring for our store. During installation I needed to call support with a how-to question and it was amazing. The phone AND my question was answered immediately. I spoke with support a couple of times since with additional questions and they provided the same great service. Highly recommended.

Excellence is the word. They set it up for us within an hour. It was the only app that offered the features we required. Admin is simple to use, fast and has no glitches. Support is incredible! They will reply by email, phone or skype immediately. It's good to work with people who know what they're doing.

We have an incredibly complicated and varied inventory with hundreds of products and Advanced Shipping Manager is our savior! I have been using it for years now without issues.
We use it to:
Charge different prices for different local delivery zip codes
Charge an adult signature fee if a cart contains wine
Prohibit wine gifts from shipping to specific states
Prohibit gifts with flowers and wine from shipping via certain methods
Offer flat rate shipping on only some product categories, with a weight max and an order subtotal minimum
We are now setting up a complicated flat rate shipping price for our gift baskets only and they are really going above and beyond to make it work for us. While it's not the absolute most user friendly for large product catalogs like ours (we've renamed our SKUs to help group products that we want to have similar settings), it's improving and it's robustness and unparalleled customer service makes it SO worthwhile. Someone else suggested I take a look at a newer shipping app with a fancier UI and they could not accomplish even one of our core needs. As a small business, I worried about the monthly subscription cost, but I absolutely think we recoup our costs each month and save ourselves so many painful customer service calls when a customer has selected a shipping method we can't honor. We likely would have had to leave Shopify without this app.
