Advanced Shipping Rates lessen the struggle of computing shipping costs based on multiple criteria.
Advanced Shipping Rates allows you to set shipping charges based on the destination city, postal/ZIP code, or state. Next, you can tell the app to calculate the charges conforming to the product weight, total cost, or quantity. Whichever criterion you choose, you’ll have the option to set the minimum and maximum values and prices. On checkout, the customer’s address is compared against your settings, and the shipment is calculated. If no match is found, the default cost is applied.
- Specify the shipping zones by city, state, zip/postal code, and country.
- Calculate rates based on the cart’s weight, total price, and quantity of items.
- Offer free shipping on minimum spend and add specific dates.
- Specify free shipping products.

Great app with flexible shipping setup and reliable support
We’ve been using Advanced Shipping Calculator to manage our store’s shipping rates, and it’s been fantastic so far. The app is easy to set up, and it allows us to configure custom rates by country, postcode, and product type, which gives us the flexibility we needed.
Customer support has also been very responsive and helpful, providing quick solutions whenever we needed assistance.
Highly recommended for anyone who needs more control over their Shopify shipping rates and logic!
This originally worked well, but suddenly stopped calculating and allowed orders to be submitted with low shipping calculations. Now it has happened again. The last time the owners didn't even refund their monthly fee to me even after I asked and lost a lot of $$ in shipping costs. Now it has happended a second time and I'm fed up. Don't bother wasting your time with this app. HORRIBLE!!!

Advanced Shipping Rates gives me complete control over my shipping setup — easy to create custom rules by ZIP code, weight, and quantity with accurate calculations at checkout. Setup was smooth and reliable, and it’s a major upgrade over Shopify’s default options!
