The initial setup was a little confusing and a setting did not default to what I thought to be a standard setting. However, after getting in touch with Lillian, she was extremely helpful and even sent a video explaining the steps that needed to be taken to rectify my issue.

Really a fantastic app all around, great pricing, customer service and user experience.
I've been using Aftersell for a while, first just for their post-purchase upsell functionality, which pretty quickly improved our AOV significantly. After switching to shopify plus we diligenced a bunch of other tools for post purchase upsell and also checkout page blocks, but ultimately discovered that Aftersell WAYYY exceeds other tools in terms of functionality and design. Plus, their pricing is much more fair.
There customer service is also amazing (shout out to Dumebi!). I can't recommend them enough!! 10/10

Perfect post-purchase upsell app, very easy to set up and integrate and customer support is awesome!
Please refund my money. This app charges customer twice every time. People started to advise their Bank it's a fraudulent. Not recommended. Please refund.

In regards to having the customer charged twice... It sounds like your customers may be getting offered the same product they've already purchased.
This may cause confusion, causing the customer to believe you're offering a discount on their existing purchase rather than adding an additional item to the order.
To prevent this confusion, we recommend:
1. Changing the text in the offer to emphasize an additional product is being added
2. Ensure your CTA button's text makes it clear a purchase is being made (i.e. "Buy Now", "Add Product to Order")
If confusion continues after this, we recommend ensuring the upsell product being offered is not a product already contained in the order.
