AfterSell Post Purchase Upsell

The app has become an essential part of how we run our business, and we’re really glad to be using it. One thing that would make it even better is having more options to customize the design — I think that could be a fantastic addition in the future, and something that would give users even more flexibility.

Aftersell is a fantastic app. It's easy to set up and user-friendly We've seen a noticeable boost in our RPV. Great support team as well, recommend for any store looking to increase post purchase revenue.

the app also has top support. After a short back and forth I was helped via video - which was very to the point. normally I don't write reviews, but I am very enthusiastic about the customer support! thank you very much.

I tried multiple post purchase app. AfterSell is not only the most stable, but also the one with the price that makes sense!

It's pretty straight forward with some useful features. It's a little convoluted with creating, activating, and then activating again inside the theme, but it works. The checkout options are nice. They could use some more customization and freedom when it comes to recommendations, but it's not bad at all.

The biggest issue is features being activated that can't be deactivated because of their paywall. For example, when integrating the app, you follow the recommended steps provided by the app. Since it's your first time using it, you go by what the developer recommends. Part of that integration is selecting Aftersell in your post-purchase page.

What you don't know is that the Post-Purchase Funnels are behind a paywall, so when you finish the trial and stick with just the checkout plan, you cannot access post-purchase funnels to turn them off. Now, I have orders that are set to "hold" before fulfillment because of a setting I can't turn off. Removing Aftersell from post-purchase page hopefully stops this, but is still injecting code into my theme that's not being used - creating code bloat. Even customer service can't deactivate them - they just tell you to remove it from post-purchase in checkout settings.

Feels a little weird and sketchy that Aftersell themselves can't turn it off permanently without me paying.

I'll probably move on to another checkout app. I've used a large amount of apps on Shopify and have never seen a reverse pay wall at the expense of the user.

I had an outstanding experience working with Laura! She helped me with everything I needed on AfterSell—answered all my questions, set up my funnels, and even recorded the entire process so I can reference it in the future. What really separates AfterSell from platforms like Rebuy is the personal, step-by-step support. Other companies expect you to figure things out yourself, but Laura actually walks you through everything and does it with you. That kind of service is rare. Highly recommend

This app is a no-brainer if you have multiple SKUs. On day 1 I got two upsells with very little effort on my half.

I'm looking forward to utilising it properly with A/B testing etc.
