Very good app but customer support needs to improve. It can take you several inquiries just to get an actual response that answers your question.
Overall it's a pretty good app that can help your website gain credibility and offer better service to customers. You can get a well-designed tracking page (as opposed to the rather messy design of other tracking apps) and a track button free of charge, and also send email notifications for an affordable price of 9$ per month. I give it 4 stars and not 5, because I'm still missing some significant things on the app:
1. Tracking can't be done inside your store, but only in an external page.
2. The tracking page doesn't have a map, which is an essential feature in other tracking apps.
3. The track button's colour or font can't be customized to fit your theme.
4. In the tracking page you can only link social media profiles on Facebook and Twitter - not on Instagram (unless you display your IG feed within the tracking page) or any other platform.
5. It just doesn't give you enough flexibility in general when it comes to designing the tracking page. You can't decide where your Instagram feed would appear. In the "marketing assets" sections you can only put static images, nothing else. You can't enter free text in one of those sections. There's no feature of product recommendations in the tracking page (unless you pay extra money for Aftership's partner app Nosto).
If some of these features are added/improved, I might give the app 5 stars.
This app was quite easy to install and it will take care of my costumers in the after purchase process.
Great app..worked well for me ;used for Indian domestic couriers -current 3 hours auto sync should have been for 1 hour.
This app worked really well until about 1 month ago. For no reason it decided to not track parcels and not email customers with tracking numbers.
When we needed support... all we got was a false hope promise that they were look into the problem.
We have waited over a month and have decided to move on to a more reliable app.
UPDATE
I have changed my original score from 2 stars to 4 stars. The support people really made the difference with this issue. They were in constant contact with us and even had a personal call to help us work through the issue.
While the fault was not their doing (Australia Post made some changes but didn't notify anyone), it did take too long, too many emails and a poor review before it became a priority to fix the issue.
We are back on track thanks to the Aftership support team.
this is a good app for Shopify users and good support for all features. Very easy to work on it and it automatically
This is a really great app. Even the free version has a lot of useful features. Glad I've found it!
It is ok but the track my order page on my site always says tracking doesn't exist. Not sure how I can fix it
A truly must-have app that completes your efforts to keep your customers happy if you are an e-commerce store. It’s easy to use and designed to automate your efforts that goes into managing your portal’s shipment.
If the free plan had a limited number of emails it sends to the customers it would have been more affordable and easier for small businesses who get less than 50 orders
