Awesome app. I ship over 95% of my orders internationally, and international shipping takes time. Aftership helps me stay in touch with my customers during the shipping. It also provides a platform where customers can easily track their package in English - especially helpful because my local shipping provider only offers a local language tracking page. That alone is worth the money.

It will send emails or even SMS to customers letting them know when their package is out for delivery or when there has been a failed delivery attempt. I can even customise these emails to let my customers know what they can do when there has been a failed delivery attempt.

I also chose to let Aftership email me when a package has been delivered. This is awesome because I can then follow up with clients to ask how they like their product. I'm actually trying to turn this into a post-purchase automation.

Overall it's a pretty good app that can help your website gain credibility and offer better service to customers. You can get a well-designed tracking page (as opposed to the rather messy design of other tracking apps) and a track button free of charge, and also send email notifications for an affordable price of 9$ per month. I give it 4 stars and not 5, because I'm still missing some significant things on the app:

1. Tracking can't be done inside your store, but only in an external page.

2. The tracking page doesn't have a map, which is an essential feature in other tracking apps.

3. The track button's colour or font can't be customized to fit your theme.

4. In the tracking page you can only link social media profiles on Facebook and Twitter - not on Instagram (unless you display your IG feed within the tracking page) or any other platform.

5. It just doesn't give you enough flexibility in general when it comes to designing the tracking page. You can't decide where your Instagram feed would appear. In the "marketing assets" sections you can only put static images, nothing else. You can't enter free text in one of those sections. There's no feature of product recommendations in the tracking page (unless you pay extra money for Aftership's partner app Nosto).

If some of these features are added/improved, I might give the app 5 stars.

No bad at all (for free) however it does two things that I am having issues with:

1. Syncs with US time only - I do business globally and use other country couriers so the info is delayed. My customers recieve the package before they are notified by Aftership - 16 hours BEHIND my customer time zone.

2. They hound you for a review on the app so that you cannot even use it! The banner each and every time covers my mobile devices and is extremely irritating when you quickly need to just check some info. Really annoying to remove, I am writing this review in hopes it stops.

3. Cannot edit any tracking number mistakes, must go back through Shopify.

Decent folks and not a bad app at all, just those issues - the badgering review request is the worst part to deal with.

Toller Support, gutes Desing und überschaubar. Kann ich also nur Empfehlen. Gut gefällt mir auch, das der Support einem sofort antwortet und die besten Lösungen anbietet.

Hi,
i'm pretty impressed with Aftership. It provides myself and especially customer a fast and easy way to track their purchases from my website. It has cut down on customer service questions of where is my product. Love the fact that it is my website vs taking the customer out to a complete different website. Keeps them in my eco-system.

Support has been super helpful! Easy to navigate and easy to use. Getting everything setup was a breeze. Customer have an easy time using this.
