I have worked with MANY shopify apps from a variety of partners. The team behind AirPower is THE best. The software itself is incredible, it's powerful, and versatile. Daniel from Base Genius did all the heavy lifting for me, and got me operational in a day. I'm now building workflow automation backed by the shopify data now in AirTables which will help our business scale. Thank you!
If you want to deeply connect Shopify and Airtable, hassle-free, this app is the go-to. Blown away by the possibilities AirPower has immediately unleashed and would give it another star if we could.
It's so much easier to use Airtable for complex tasks and manipulating data than Shopify. Depending on your skill level, this could be many apps in one and is an invaluable part of our workflow.
Absolute game changer for order management and fulfillment. Managing the data and data views through Airtable instead of Shopify will significantly reduce the complexity for my clients. Plus it just works, it was like magic. Their support team is amazing as well.
AirPower has been a game changer for my business. Their customer support quickly (within days) helped us customize the tool and build custom solutions for our business. We've done away with the majority of manual Shopify / Airtable work we used to do. This includes, reporting, inventory sorting and more. We've saved countless hours of work time. Don't think twice. This tool and this team is the best I've ever worked with in the Shopify eco-system.
I am giving this a 1 star rating for now, as the app seems abandoned to some extent. This is a warning for new users.
The support will answer (and is generally quite quick) but features and sync fields are slowly being deprecated. Despite the GraphQL api now being the superior api, there seems little willingness to support it. This means that basic fields such as product type is no longer supported.
Metafields are supported by they will slow down the sync to a halt. It will literally take you 6+ hours to finish a sync, if you have a fair amount of metafields and products. This is also something use of the GraphQL api would alleviate. This is a huge thing, as Shopify is betting on metafields in a big way.
All in all the app does function but you will bear a large cost tying yourself to this app down the line, as it looks right now. I hope in the future that I can come back and change this rating.
Hello. As mentioned in our conversations with you, no, the app is by no means "abandoned". In general we have to move slowly when introducing new sync data elements. We sync millions of items per day for our clients and every change has to go through extensive testing, as any downtime has massive and immediate implications for our client stores.
And no, fields like product type are not going away - the GraphQL API has a different way of setting it.
Finally, metafields take time to sync irrespective of which of the two APIs you use. When syncing data to Shopify AirPower always pushes data as fast as Shopify will allow within its rate limits.
Does exactly what it says it will do. I especially like that the app is pretty easy to configure and manage. Customer support is also very nice, responsive and helpful.

Was a game-changer for us. A reliable two-way sync with Shopify allows us to manage everything straight from Airtable without creating and managing 'Zaps' ourselves -> such an incredible time saver!

Really like this. Allows us to build very custom tools on top of Airtable. But I wish Base Genius had a knowledge base and more detailed technical support FAQ.
