Incredibly fast, reliable and flexible search

We have several stores we manage and were having issues with search and filtering. Algolia has been an amazing tool for our team presenting results quickly, giving us more control over the results that are returned and providing us with great support.

Very overpriced for our needs. Post-sales customer support is slow. The tool itself is pretty quick and slick (once setup, however you will need a professional developer to install it, certainly not a plug-and-play setup. Online documentation and knowledgbase is very technical. Support just send you links to the knowledgebase each time). We have been oversold a package for which we didn't come close to using the quota. Would only recommend for enterprise-level websites.

Their instant search makes it feel like you're on Google. It blows shopify native search out of the water.

Installation is a little more involved than a single click, but it's worth it because this is a real platform, not a shitty half-baked Shopify plugin app as many are.. honestly.

Lastly, their support forums are GREAT, they will get back to you next day early morning. and you can search for answers in the forums.
