Altera ‑ Export and Import

A must have and worth every penny. Helped us solve and Issues that Shopify themselves could not fix. The support team is fantastic.

Amazing App an absolute must have for any shopify store owner. My interactions with the team at Altera have always been helpful and accomadating. even implementing new features on request within a few hours.

what can i say? well, it's the backup compiler and reinstaller of choice for all of our websites. although we haven't needed to use the backups in anger, yet, having analysed and reviewed the data extracts, this should not cause an issue when we do. having come from an IT background, i know thru experience that backups are crucial to the running and longevity of any and all websites. do a backup daily! the export itself, in the format of a simple spreadsheet, is very helpful too. a thousands thank yous, dudes and dudettes!

This is an excellent app for Shopify users. I must take a moment and give a shout-out to their support person, Daniel. Daniel keeps answering my questions quickly, even making a video to help. Its the level of support and quality that makes this worth getting.

We are using this app since 3 days and we are already crying after countless hours of wasted time, manually exporting, editing and uploading data.

With the Altera CLI, it is now possible to have any AI work safely on your store data (translations, product data, metafields) etc, without any human interactions needed.

Was exactly what I was looking for. I exported about 10 metaobject definitions which include fields connectiong to other metaobjects.

Import worked fine and even the connections between definitions work.

Small tip : export your stuff with Altera and use ChatGPT or other AI to manipulate your data, they're actually very great.
