Works really well. We have almost 40,000 images to update and so far the 1st 5k went really well. Could use a bit more customization to filter which ones to update, like for example by a certain tag, but the results have been really good. Will be using monthly.

AltText.ai has been an absolute game changer for our store. It takes something that is normally tedious, time consuming, and easy to neglect and turns it into a fast, reliable, genuinely useful workflow. The alt text it generates is accurate, descriptive, and actually improves accessibility and SEO rather than feeling like generic filler.

The app is incredibly easy to use, integrates smoothly with Shopify, and saves us hours of manual work across large product catalogues. It feels thoughtfully built for real ecommerce businesses, not just as a checkbox tool. On top of that, the team is responsive and clearly cares about making the product better.

We didn't want to spend loads of time filling in the alt text for images and shopify's AI solution wasn't working well, it was very basic and not accurate. We came across AltText.ai and it's honestly a game changer. We grab the month, sorted all our live products out in less than 10 minutes and the alt text is brilliant. It's made a 3-4 hour job (maybe longer) into a 10 minute process.
