I can say this as an OG to the MCF app - I've been using MCF for our Shopify site for many years now starting with their older app, and the recent changes in the new app have been amazing! It runs very smooth, I've never had any issues when it comes to the inventory management and syncing products but in this newest version they have reduced a lot of the day to day workload in having to manually select shipping speeds per order which was always something cumbersome in previous iterations (and its entirely possible I was using these wrong then, but its set up automatically this time around). Once you set it up, it will map shipping speeds automatically to the customer's order and pushes the order with the correct shipping speed noted. Amazon's support has been amazing too, we wondered if we were able to automatically fulfill each other without having to confirm it each time - and they helped us out in a matter of seconds which saves us hours each week! (for those wondering, its a setting under your Shopify Settings: Settings/Checkout/Order Processing/Automatically fulfill the order‘s line items = yes)

Will be using MCF for many more years to come!

We switched to MCF and lowered our shipping costs so much that we no longer use a 3PL. So, we can access Amazon’s complete FC network instead of shipping from one warehouse. On top of that, shipping products to Amazon has reduced our shipping costs as we ship to fulfill both FBA and MCF. For example - we ship four pallets to Amazon, and they pick from that shipment to fulfill FBA and MCF.

As for the MCF app, it is easy to install and use. We set the app up to automatically ship our Shopify orders as they come in. For our pet food business, it has been a game changer.

What's been genuinely impressive is the support from the Amazon team. We've thrown a few suggestions their way, and they've been quick to listen, respond, and act. The pricing is transparent and makes sense for our business. All in all, if you're looking to streamline your fulfillment process, this app is the game changer your business has been looking for.

Update:

We're having a lot of issues with amazon MCF. Although the storage and fulfilment is cheap we've been having many problems:

1) Amazon receiving our inventory there are always issues. Either they overcount or undercount our inventory and then we have to submit a case against them. Getting a response takies forever. We also have to wait for them to process the whole shipment which can take up to a month.

2) Orders can stay pending fulfillment progress for months. We will send a request for amazon to fulfill our orders and it will stay in fulfillment progress for months. Customers then get upset because they never receive their order.

3) Amazon shows inventory for an item but when a customer makes an order for it, amazon declines for no inventory, although it says there is inventory.

4) We've been submitting cases for amazon to refund for items that are lost, they give us 50% reimbursement for the price. They claim they get the price based on the average of the price in the last 18 months or what other sellers are selling it at. However, we are the only ones that sell our items, so it doesn't make sense.

5) we've submitted so many cases with amazon and its weeks for a response. Then the response is barely a response.

If you're willing to lose 10% of inventory, maybe you can use amazon.

It seems great if you are up for manually entering your FBA inventory manually on the Shopify side then mapping the SKUs. Surely there must be a way to import my existing FBA inventory INTO Shopify. I'm an established FBA seller and last thing I want to do is manually enter my products into Shopify. Looking to have FBA inventory as primary and have shopify sync off of Amazon.

Amazon MCF app automatically maps Shopify SKUs to Amazon SKUs if SKU value is same(case-sensitive). For other SKUs, you can manually map to any valid Amazon SKU.
With respect to Inventory Sync: All mapped Shopify products which have Inventory Located At= Amazon MCF and Track Quantities is checked, FBA inventory is constantly synced into Shopify every time there is change in inventory value. There is no need to manually key in the inventory.

Not as easy to set up as other connectors, but Amazon was very helpful and made sure it worked. Orders are feeding through and so far so good.

If we compare this to TikTok, Amazon is a winner. TikTok is a loser.

In due time it should work really well.

This is a worlds of a difference better than the ByteStand MCF app - it integrates easy/well with little errors and customer service is on point.

We have been using this app since its inception. Having used many other third-party options prior to this one, I can say it works well and seems to be the best option. Support has been good, and we haven’t had any errors or problems to speak of. I recommend it:)
