Great little app - works exactly as expected. The button feature on the banner is optional as well which is great when you just want to convey a simple message.
Here's my honest review. I've had the thing installed less than ten minutes and I'm being pummelled by the instance to review it, offers for other bars they have, live chat... It's kind of annoying already. I attempted to use the live chat which it says is available... only to be met with "leave a message". It doesn't push my page down, but instead just covers up my page logo which is frustrating. So far... not sure if I'll keep it another ten minutes. I'll keep exploring. I also am not fond of the amount of permissions it asks. It basically says it is spyware for your customers. That part is a thumbs down.

Amazing, Had some problem with the bar not staying at the top or covering up certain elements and their support went out of their way to fix this all for me, at which the shopify support would have probably charged £60/hour and taken 10hours to do! Will definitely be keeping this app and using it all the time!
This might be the first time where I've felt that the app was entirely perfect for me! Everything I wanted in it was there. There is something confusing, and it seems it's what confused the dood that left a one-star review. You can click on "plans" and there are choices for upgrading your account, and the "free" account explaining your limitations, at which point we say, "So it's NOT free!!" But what me and other dood had failed to notice was that we were automatically placed on the plan with all the features, and that is shown directly underneath the row of other plans. But rest assured, it IS free, and it is fantastic!
AWESOME IT support! Fix my problem within 12 hours, great app for BFCM! Will keep on using for future flash/holiday sales event! Totally recommend!!
Update: I was about to set up some holiday season promo and found out that this app is not free anymore. I don't think it's worth spending money on an app which I am not sure how long I will stick to, partly because it is sometimes glitchy and does not work smoothly, both in the front end and in the admin. Just installed it for my store www.hummingbirdlifestyle.com. Seem very handful. Haven't had any subscribers yet. Will come back with more updates.

I have tried an announcement bar with end date time and it did not finished as expected. Do not want to pay for an app that is not performing well or doing as expected.

Pros: Tons of options for a free app. Easy to use. Adds pop to web pages.
Cons: The added bars are a bit slow to appear on page load. The countdown bar is not responsive enough for mobile so it doesn't size down enough and no option to select smaller size than small in set-up. Found some bugs in the app but found workarounds.

I used this app to add the announcement bar at the top. It had many options and I was spoilt for choice. There are many other options that are yet to be explored.

I have created different announcement bars and after a few hours it stops showing when i go to dashboard it keeps saying error and it wont let me create a new one it sucks because i really love how easy is to setup.

Guys, I plugged this into my shop today and I freaking love it! It really has an amazing set of features for a free app. It does so much more than a simple banner on a home page.
I'm customizing it now to show a banner warning customers of the last day to order before Christmas, but I'm customizing it to make it only appear on specific products.
And it has TEMPLATES!

Just installed it for my store www.pzkloset.com. Seem very handful. Haven't had any subscribers yet. System has a error in the script right now. Hopefully, it'll get fixed soon. Will come back with more updates.
