AppHero: Free Gift Upsell BOGO

I’ve been using this app for a short time, and overall it’s been a great experience so far. We did run into a technical issue, but their support team was very responsive and helpful. They resolved the problem within 24 hours, which made a big difference for us. Since the app is still new, there are naturally a few areas that could continue to improve, but the quick support and willingness to help definitely stand out. Looking forward to seeing how the app evolves.

HeroApp has made adding and managing free gifts on our website incredibly easy. It automatically adds gifts to the cart based on set conditions, saving time and improving the customer experience. De momento va genial. No he hecho uso de todas su funcionalidades, pero lo que he ido probando funciona bien. Además se personaliza muy bien con los colores de tu marca.
Así que le doy 5 estrellas, porque no he tenido problemas, si los he tenido es porque no lo había configurado bien. No es complicado, tiene una interfaz fácil. Así que estupendo.
Edito para mencionar que el soporte ha sido maravilloso, me atendió Rami, y sinceramente ha sido, rápido, amable y lo mejor de todo es que ha solucionado el problema en un tiempo que no era fácil, puesto que eran temas sobre protección de datos en la UE. Así que Rami ha hecho un trabajo espectacular.

Really solid app with a lot of potential. The free gift and upsell features are exactly what we needed, and the setup is quite straightforward once you understand how the discount combinations work.

Rami was very helpful, clear, and quick in explaining how everything works and even suggested practical workarounds when we needed some help.

We've just downloaded the app, as we needed something to add free gifts to the cart automatically. This is perfect for what we need and any issues have been resolved swiftly. So far, this app is working great for us, thank you Rami

It's super easy to use the app. This makes it very easy to increase AOV. If I remember correctly, we get 3 different options to upsell.
1: BOGO
2: BUY X GET Y
3: free gift when you spend X amount
I like using the Free gift when you spend X amount.

I have been adding free gifts to orders for many years but it has always been a manual process of setting up banners and then remembering to put the gift into qualifying orders. The native buy x get y is good but does require customers to put the y product into the cart to get the offer. I didn't want my customers to have to do take this action and many forget.

The app fixes that problem perfectly and so much more!

It is very easy to use and has many options to not only customise to your branding but also how you want it to work. I love that you can have the free gift either automatically added to a cart or you can give the customer the choice to claim it. This is especially good if your gift has options or is maybe not something your customer wants.

You can have several gift offers running at the same time and can even target gifts to specific customers by using customer tags which is perfect for me as I have a number of VIPs that I can now reward even more.

I have done extensive testing to ensure this works smoothly with other apps I have installed as well as with native discounts and all is working perfectly.

The best part for me is now the free gift appears on the packing slip so I won't forget to add these in.

Works very well and their support is exceptional.
Had questions on fonts and widget icon display position after installing the app. Rami from AppHero responded quickly and their technical team created a help article on adjusting widget position within a day. They followed up proactively to also include custom position of the notification popup.
Most importantly this app is FREE to use! Will happily upgrade to paid plans as they update more features in the future.

AppHero has been exactly what I needed. The setup was straightforward and not complicated at all, and testing the app was easy and intuitive.

I did run into an issue initially, but their support team was excellent. After submitting a support ticket and granting AppHero collaborator access, they quickly helped me pinpoint the problem. It turned out the issue was related to how we had our Shopify Markets configured, not the app itself. Once that limitation was removed, the app worked beautifully.

Really impressed with both the product and the support so far. We’re launching our first promotion tomorrow, so I’m excited to see how it performs!
