If I could give a lower rating I would. Product was out of inventory and was supposed to ship in 4-5 weeks. Now that it's been 5 weeks I'm trying to follow up about the timeline for shipment. Put 2 inquiries into the portal with no reply. Im on hold right now to try and speak to someone. Ive been ON HOLD FOR 4 HOURS. Terribly service. Can someone PLEASE contact me???

Art of Where provides great products but their Shopify integration can be improved. It lacks the API access to provide a Shopify store that has automatic shipping rates if you purchase a one-year or more Shopify plan subscription. I benefit from this feature when I add items from other vendors, such as Printful, Printify and Pixels. It is great to see my rates automaticity be calculated when a customer adds to the cart, without me looking up a rate table and manually adding the rates for each item. I have better things to do. Art of Where also lacks a more robust thumbnail and mockup library. They really need to look at the competition and see what is offered. Shopify offers 3D AR thumbnail viewing and the crazy thing is that Art of Where offers this technology within their app but when posting to the Shopify store you are unable to send the 3D file to your shop so your customers can enjoy viewing the product in 3D. This would be a first from a vendor and it is a shame that Art of Where does not see this. Instead, you can only rotate and download screenshots of the 3D file from within the Art of Where product builder. At glenloates.com, we would really benefit from this. Especially with our silk scarf line from Art of Where.
The app itself was easy to install and it works seamlessly with Shopify. I love the design lab, especially being able to either clone or mirror the other side of the product, so that you don't have to try and line everything up all the time. The integration of the products with Shopify is also super easy. Great experience!

I like most of the products, the quality is great! I love that it is Canadian, and you have plenty of options for artists so you can have all from the same company
Expensive shirts, and we have to manually integrate the products...
I still have a glitch for paiement.

Before you download this and start setting up with them, I suggest you look elsewhere.
There are many issues with this app, but the main one is Gail, the ONLY support person to talk to, she also doesnt care about your issues with their app. They don't seem to care about customer support at all in-fact.
Their design lab is NOT a design lab. The whole thing needs to be redone. There is no design in their lab at all, all it does is puts your design you already made in PS onto a tshirt template which you then just move it around to position it. You cant do anything to your designs at all, you have to then exit it, reedit your design then re upload it then wait for the app to render that new edit onto their very pixelated and low quality image mockup.
OTHER ISSUES
The mockup images it creates and imports to your store are very low quality.
The images are all stuck onto a grey background (Not white) There is no way to export the images as transparent background, all you can do is upload your own backgrounds or use their own 90's styled backgrounds.
The products are quite expensive and leaves no room to make a profit.
When importing into shopify, you cannot choose where the products go, you cant change their price, product type etc.. It imports the proudtcs with their own specifications, vendor, product type, price variants etc
The imported products are all active already when pushed to the store. So you edit them to fix their price, variants (because AOW create their own variants of your shirt without telling you and pushing those to your store too!
Overall Very horrible experience and will never be trying these guys again.
All the work put in to this app, only for Gail to be rude and not care that their app is causing a lot of problems.

Finally found something that works!!
Love the app and service. Just started out and have already filled a couple of orders for customers and one for myself and so far everything has worked out great. Production time is a bit long but between the merchandise being handmade and COVID thats really to be expected. The only issue I can say I have right now is the ability to edit prices before uploading. I use more than one dropshipping supplier and it would be easier to edit the prices and other info being uploaded before it's sent to Shopify. Other than that, lovin' working with Art of Where.

We are working on hard on improving our production times and are getting close to pre-covid production times now. This should only get better from here!

I've only been using for just over a month and love everything so far. I have two suggestions, one allow us to update or change a product without having to redo the whole thing and the other faster turnaround. I do understand my product is handmade, and I love them but that is the one thing customers dislike. Otherwise, my experiences have been great and everyone loves the bags!

As for the faster turnaround, we agree with you and this is something we've been working hard on improving. There's always going to be a certain amount of time required to manufacture handmade products on-demand, but this is one area that we focus a lot on improving.
So far I love their product, a little slow on response, but they are busy and shipping on products, I wish it were a little faster. But Covid-19 has slowed down many areas of business. I get it. Things will continue to get better everywhere.

We do apologize for any delays with our emails during the last few months, we did see a much larger number of emails than normal and we are now back at our regular response times.
Our production time on all products are also almost back to normal so you should see your orders ship faster!
