DO NOT use this app — catastrophic failure during our Black Friday launch

Listen, I’m usually one to give the benefit of the doubt. But what happened to us with JD Auto Schedule is so huge and so damaging that I need other merchants to learn from this before it happens to them.

We integrated this app to handle sales pricing and automation for our biggest weekend of the year. It failed — massively. Pricing throughout our entire store went haywire, dozens of SKUs showed incorrect or at‑cost pricing, and we were scrambling at midnight to prevent a full meltdown. We had to pull 5,000+ SKUs, deal with 40+ vendors, and move items to draft just to stop the bleeding.

We’ve now had two major catastrophic issues with this app — and yes, we stayed loyal after the first screw‑up hoping you’d fix things. But this second failure, during our Black Friday launch, is inexcusable.

If you are a Shopify store owner and use this app:
• Expect zero guarantee that pricing will stay correct under load.
• Expect tons of manual cleanup in the aftermath.
• Expect major revenue loss and reputation damage.
• Assume that support will be limited and you’ll be fighting fire while your site is live.

Don’t say I didn’t warn you. We trusted this plugin and it betrayed us. Move along, find another solution, or prepare for things to go sideways.

As I understand it from your support ticket, this looks to be a mix up in understanding of whether 00:00 translates to 12am or 12pm.

Could you please respond to the support ticket so we can get this sorted for you?

This is the worst app I've ever installed. Completely messed up my store. Put my entire store on sale. No way to edit or revert back. Had to contact Shopify support and waste time fixing it. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE.

I'm sorry to learn that you had a problem with our app and I would like to clarify what happened.

Firstly, to be clear, our app does not randomly put entire stores on sale and it does have an option to revert back changes.

After reviewing the logs, it seems that you specifically set a schedule to apply a 20% discount to all the products in your store and then while the discount was running, you uninstalled the app leaving you with no way to revert the changes.

We have contacted you twice now in an attempt to understand better what has happened and to put things right for you. However, we have not had a reply. I would really appreciate it if you did so that we can help.
