Excellent customer service. An app that helps you boost your website's SEO content and improve your search engine ranking.
I had a problem translating a phrase within the app's code, and with Penelope's help, it was translated in a flash.
The app is easy to use and really does wonders to our SEO. Packed with functionality, even on the free tier makes this app an absolute must have. When I needed support, Christian replied lightning fast (within seconds). Really impressive!
Great app and fantastic support
Kevin was very kind, helpful, and professional. He made the setup easy and efficient. Highly recommend Avada SEO Suite for any merchant looking to improve SEO and site speed.
The Avada SEO team has been incredibly helpful. Viola from the support team was always quick to respond and went above and beyond to resolve our issues — including speed optimization and theme-related fixes. Live support is top-notch. Highly recommend!
app works well and cust. service is quite good. they sorted an issue. i can see some impact from the image alt text & image compression
Christian helped answer my questions and provided great customer service, I have been using the app for over 2 years and it has helped me to greatly improve my SEO ranking and leads.
The APP just had conflict with another optimization APP today and the speed up process has been slowed a lot.
I asked their support and get help very quickly from Thomas.
A Worth APP!
Good for SEO and effective!
UPDATE (after Avada’s response):
I’ve read their reply carefully. I’m not here to argue technical semantics. I’m here to document what actually happened as a merchant.
After installing Avada SEO Suite, my Google Ads account was suspended due to “Unknown DNS Errors” and “Malicious Redirects.” My store was effectively disrupted for over 48 hours.
I contacted Shopify Support, and during that process:
There were discussions around redirects (including xnxn.win)
There were concerns about URL structure and crawling behavior
There was initial mention that canonical tags MAY have been affected
Avada is now stating that Shopify ultimately concluded everything was “clean” and not related to their app. I cannot independently verify their internal interpretation of those logs, and I acknowledge that the final root cause may not be definitively attributed.
However, here is what I can confirm with certainty:
1. The issue happened immediately after installing the app
Before installation: no Google Ads suspension
After installation: account flagged and disrupted
You can decide for yourself whether that timing is coincidence.
2. The experience during support was not reassuring
When I raised concerns and shared Shopify findings:
The response was defensive
Responsibility was immediately denied
The burden of proof was pushed entirely onto me
Whether or not the app was the root cause, this is not the level of support I expect when my business is impacted.
3. Refund experience was extremely difficult
This part is not disputed, and it’s important for other merchants:
I canceled during the free trial period
I was still charged
I was asked to provide billing screenshots (which they already have access to)
After providing them, I was told to wait for the billing team with no clear timeline
At this point, getting a refund has been unnecessarily complicated.
4. My takeaway for other merchants
I cannot conclusively prove the app caused the issue.
Avada claims it did not.
But what I experienced was:
A major disruption shortly after installation
A support process that felt dismissive
A refund process that was not straightforward
That combination alone is enough for me to advise caution.
Hi there,
We're genuinely sorry for the stress this situation caused, and we understand why the timing right after installation felt alarming.
On the redirect: you looked into this together with Shopify, and their investigation showed the flagged redirect did not originate from Avada, with no residual scripts left behind after uninstall.
We traced the root cause to a third-party Microsoft/Bing Ads script on the store, and shared a detailed walkthrough with you directly so you could see exactly what was happening.
On the billing: when the free trial was skipped and the plan was upgraded, Shopify started a new billing cycle and automatically issued the invoice for that period — this is handled entirely by Shopify's system, not by us. Even so, we reviewed your request under our own refund policy and processed a refund, which you kindly confirmed receiving.
We completely respect your experience and how you choose to share it. We only hope that, with the full context in view, it can be seen in a fair and balanced light. We're here anytime you need us.
Best regards,
Avada
great app to help tick boxes on things you are missing for each product. i'm only just getting my head around it all. Tobias has been a great help guiding me through the steps and helping me get my seo score up to speed.
I’ve had a great experience using Avada SEO Suite for my Shopify store. The app is very user-friendly and helps identify SEO issues clearly, making optimization much easier even without deep technical knowledge. Features like site audit, broken link detection, and on-page SEO suggestions are extremely helpful for improving store performance.
A special thanks to Thomas from the support team — very professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful. The support was quick, clear, and solved my queries efficiently. Highly recommend this app to anyone looking to improve their Shopify SEO and overall store health!
