WORKS WELL, BUT CAVEAT! There is a critical bug that could cost you a lot of money. We encountered an error, and wound up solving it on our own as Avada support didn't seem familiar with their own documentation. First of all, the app's documentation instructs you to create a Shopify shipping plan for your free shipping promo, setting the "cost" field to "$100". This seems counter-intuitive, but according to the documentation, is necessary for the proper functioning of the Avada plugin. By itself, without the plugin, this would charge the customer $100 for "Free shipping", which is obviously incorrect. With the app, however, it uses this field as the dollar amount that the customer must spend in order to achieve free shipping. We did exactly as instructed, tested that it was working, and were done (or so we thought). The next day, thankfully, a customer notified us that his "Free" shipping was charging him $50 (the threshold we had set our free shipping amount to). We asked him for a screenshot, and sure enough, he was right. While we couldn't replicate the error on any of our devices, the system was definitely trying to charge him $50 when he qualified for free shipping. We immediately reached out to Avada support, and for their part, they responded in ~12 hours or so. However, the rep seemed to think that we had made an error in setting the price to "$50", which is explicitly stated in the documentation. At this point we were losing money, and rather than educate them about their own product, we simply tried creating a duplicate free shipping option in Shopify, with all the same conditions, but this time set the price to $0. Having both plans running simultaneously works perfectly from what we have been able to tell, and there have been no further customer complaints. Hopefully this saves some other store owners some headache until this issue gets fixed.
