During the setup experience, the application did not consider inventory levels only from fulfilling locations, and support is spotty at best. (Sandesh kindly acknowledged the challenges in our specific situation)
Be careful about your setup, then it does appear to work as expected.
Hey there! Sandesh here, one of STOQ's founders. Sorry to hear that things didn't work out well with us. I tried reaching out to you a few different times on chat to resolve this, but I didn't hear back. I'd greatly appreciate you replying to us so we can get you set up for your next preorder campaign.
A couple of things here that I want to clarify -
1. "Does not consider inventory levels only from fulfilling locations" - this is incorrect, as STOQ has the exact settings needed to pull data from fulfillable locations. Unfortunately, it's not possible for us to get this data automatically from your store and it requires you to tell us which locations are configured for fulfillment. We can do a better job of surfacing those settings in-app as a part of setting up preorders and we'll make sure to do that. STOQ is designed, from the ground-up, to sell preorders worldwide with deep support for locations & markets. It's been a key area we've put a lot of attention in, and what sets us apart from everybody else. :)
2. "Support is spotty at best" - we offer support round the clock (24*7) and since the conversation was in a priority inbox just for us founders to check, I was not able to get back to you as soon as you reached out on chat on Friday night EST. The team is instructed to leave any high priority conversations to us as we try to offer the best possible support - unfortunately we are not able to do that round the clock. You reached out on a Friday evening when I was with family and I was only able to check next on Sunday morning soon as I was back at keyboard. I don't want to blame anyone; this is on us to have better escalation flows so you always get the right attention. We've already improved this significantly.
I'd love to make this right since it seems like you are still using STOQ. I'd greatly appreciate the opportunity, and I look forward to hearing from you. In any case, thanks for using STOQ and appreciate the feedback.

Find it hard to navigate
Hi there! Sandesh here, one of the founders at STOQ. I saw your 3-star review of STOQ come in, and I’m sincerely sorry you ran into difficulties navigating the app.
I went through your conversation with my team, and I completely understand how that experience wasn’t ideal. The team could've done a better job in helping you with clear instructions, or better yet, just doing it for you. I think they missed the mark here, and I've had a word with them on being more proactive.
I’ve also taken your feedback and made this much easier now, there’s a new checkbox directly in the main offers list, so you can quickly bulk select offers and enable or disable them in one go. This improvement exists because of your feedback, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to point it out. We use the app at the moment, but it is unsure if we stay at the app.
1. The language settings are only included in a upgrade, that makes the app too expensive for small shops, like us.
2. The sender of the info mail (Product is on stock again) is a Mail adresse of Stoq company, no the one of you shop, even with Stoq logo.
We only need this function, therefore the app is too expensive if you need not all functions. Furthermore we have just 10 Mails per month, that would mean, that one mail is 1USD. Too many limitations at the free version.
Hey there! Thanks for writing a review. I greatly appreciate it. I completely understand that it's important to have more features available for free and we do our best to provide a generous free plan to merchants every year. However, there are costs associated with some products and features that we need to account for, so that's why some features are paid. I do also want to clarify some of the comments in your review -
1. The default email address is from STOQ, but you can change this anytime from the app's dashboard on any paid plan.
2. The basic $10/mo paid plan gives you access to almost all paid features. You won't need to upgrade for a very long time.
3. All plans include preorders and back-in-stock alerts—two apps for the price of one!
4. And finally, the $10/month plan gives you 1,000 alerts and 100 preorders. That means the effective cost of a back-in-stock alert is less than $0.01 per alert. :)

Great support. I got immediate help when I have some questions and customer care was excellent. Unfortunatly many basic feature requires to upgrade pretty much straight away and for smaller shops you have directly a high cost.
