Just downloaded Stoq and created my first pre order offer. Took me about 15 minutes and I got everything except the discount price wasn't showing. Asked for help 7:30pm on a Sunday and Sneha answered in 3 minutes and got the last step sorted in 5. Thank you darling!

Exactly what i wanted! You can set the "add the cart" button to become "Preorder" button when the inventory becomes zero. There's also option to notify customer when it's back in stock. The design fits the theme perfectly. Customer service was quick and effective! and it's much more affordable than the alternative. There's also disclaimer/reminder at the checkout page to remind customer that there's a preorder item in the order so the customer is aware of the wait(you will need to edit this in the shopify language)

very happy with this app, both for back in stock emails as their new preorder functionality. as it is a beta they are still perfecting things but they help immediately, Zia was able to help us super quick and well with our questions!
Starting my first small e-commerce store and figuring out how to use different apps for different settings can get overwhelming. Just sold out of an item and realized I needed a "notify when available" button and decided to try Stoq. It was pretty straight forward and when I did need some help, their customer service was immediate. Hassan was able to help change the location of the button and made sure it was showing up properly on on website. Glad we added Stoq to our shopify!
The UI was mostly intuitive and the app is very responsive. It was all very easy to set up within an hour (I couldn't find any detailed tutorial videos online so had to do a bit of trial and error). Customer support was excellent. They responded within a few minutes, understood what I was asking and helped me with all of my queries. Although my support ticket couldn't be resolved within a day (as they needed further assistance from team members), they followed up the next day and the handover between support members was seamless!
