App works as expected, it can remove background automatically. Can recommend it, developer is very friendly and does provide great support.

Usually this app works very well indeed, just a few instances where it cant figure out the background properly so i have had to undo the change.
Only gripes are that you dont get your credit back if it doesn't work and it is a bit on the expensive side. Might add it to my other store if these issues are sorted out
I would deservedly give this a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ once sorted

As promised, I have updated the app today to add the new link / button if you are not satisfied with the result and to receive a refund for your credits. Hope you can now increase your rating, it would be amazing! And I hope you like this new feature ;-)
I didn't use the HD Settings when I began my editing. They refunded my credits. How awesome is that! The program works very quickly which saves me time and has greatly reduced my stress levels. They are a great team to work with!!!

OBSESSED with this app!!!! Cannot say enough good things about it! I originally had the first version of the app installed, which the output photo quality wasn't the best.....I emailed Axel (the app creator) and he notified me they were working on an HD version! With that being said, he even gave me more credits after the HD version came out, so I could "re-apply" the background removal to the photos I had previously done. Definitely love this, makes uploading bulk product photos so easy where you would need a CLEAN background. SAVES SO MUCH TIME. Worth the cost if you have a ton of photos to upload.

Wow, I just happened upon this app needing something that could take care of erasing backgrounds. I was using another app and knew it couldn't do the job. So I TRIED this one and am I glad I did. It may cost a little more but it does it right the FIRST time. THANK YOU!!!

Background Remover by Mr. Axel Hardy works as advertised. Here's a screenshot of my first conversion: https://share.cleanshot.com/qCMMgE Caveat emptor: The app will remove image alt text which, depending on the complexity of your theme, contains code used for image swapping and the like. In this case, the ALT must be added back to the image(s). UPDATE: This app still wipes out ALT text as of 10/17/2022.
Update 10/24/2022 : The ALT texts are now correctly kept when a background is removed :-)
