The restores don't work. I have had 1 major and 1 minor restore, and both failed. You can't get any answers quickly, and my issues never get resolved. I was never able to recover the deleted information in a restore.

You have a great store. You have invested thousands of hours in it, and a lot of money. It provides you with income you used to dream about. And then you install an attractive-looking but defective app which wrecks the lot. Or you hire some goon of a coder who does the same thing. Or anything. What do you do?
I thought about that nightmare scenario. But not for long. I thoroughly researched what was out there and found and installed Rewind. Now I sleep more soundly. Have I tested it? Of course. Only a fool wouldn't. I have deleted bits of my store and then restored them with Rewind. And it works, easily and quickly. Have I deliberately wiped my whole store and tested whether Rewind would rebuild the entire thing? I'm not that brave. But I'm confident it would.
You have got to be a back-up freak these days. Back up your desktops in the cloud, or on external disks you keep in the garage. But for me, for my Shopify store, it's Rewind.
So a freelancer put a grenade in a product bulk upload CSV to my shopify store and destroyed over 6000 SKUs. The lovely Logan from Rewind chat support helped dampen the ensuing panic attack and within 5 minutes my entire store was back to normal. This would've cost me £1,500 to repair, so rewind has paid for itself MANY times over. Get rewind or get tested.
This app does what it is supposed to. Easy to use as well. I would definitely recommend using this app.
All of our inventory, including custom changes we had spent weeks making, was deleted in an instant by an update gone wrong from our supplier.
We had no backup. It was devastating.
Never again, now that we've found Rewind. It's an excellent app. Extremely easy to use. Set it and forget it. Every Shopify store should have this app. Period. Thank you, Rewind!
Cannot recommend Mike and his team at Rewind highly enough. Having invested time and money building The Fine Wooden Article Companies Shopify site, and once realising that its copy, images and content was not backed up I approached Shopify for advice. Rewind was quickly suggested. A couple of email exchanges with Mike were had and Mike took it from there. Installing the App and running tests to ensure all was in order.
Really pleased with the experience and from our point of view, a good value for money level of insurance should anything go wrong with the site.
That said one area which still remains of a little concern, is the backing up of our sites settings and navigation buttons. I raised this with Mike and am assured that he and his team are working on this area of the service and once a solution has been developed and tested will be implemented automatically, included in the subscription fee.
So I look forwards very much to receiving notification when this has happened in the near future.
If some peace of mind is desired with respects your Shopify site and its files, then Mike and Rewind are your team.
