BR ‑ Better Reports

I am still new to this app but so far it it really helpful!. It is very useful in breaking down my sales in to each product category which aids in creating open to buy plans. There are TONS of reports that I haven't even looked into so I'm sure I'll only find more uses as I go but even just the two reports I'm currently using make it worth it. My only negatives I would have is that it really annoys me that they increase the plan price based on my Shopify plan. I don't understand at all why that is the case and it seems like they are just forcing me to pay more for the same product which is very frustrating. Also, I have to mention the support I have received has be exceptional! They have been vey helping with getting me set up with custom reports and schedules tailored to my business needs. That being said I would like to see support be available via chat like some of the other competitors out there as opposed to just email. I'm guessing this will come available as they continue to report. Overall good reporting features with a very helpful and friendly staff!

AH! I can't even believe I haven't reviewed this app yet! I literally use Better Reports EVERY SINGLE DAY (even on the weekends). It guides our business in profound ways. I just made a weekly report that evaluates profitability per order and orders over time so we can evaluate the effect of some pricing increases we just made. The information in Better Reports DRIVES our business.

It isn't pretty. There are no fancy charts. It's PURE DATA. If you need pretty charts, you're going to have to make those yourself.

But pure data is what I need; since it's SO INTENSELY CONFIGURABLE, I can create a report for almost anything that I want to know... and if I can't find a data point that I'd like to see, I just reach out to their support (live chat) and they'll create the data point... they've even created new reports for me when I get stuck trying to envision the data I'm trying to get. Their customer service is really great (Hi Keanna!).

I've used tons of metrics apps and dashboards, including Google Analytics, Triple Whale, and Peel (as well as the standard Shopify reports that come with Shopify Plus). We are a very data-driven business, and there are infinite ways of slicing and dicing data... I believe that Better Reports actually provides a competitive advantage because I can investigate theories that other CEOs just don't have access to.

My only complaint is that the cost goes way up for Shopify Plus, and since Shopify Plus has pretty robust and configurable report building, it's a little duplicative.

But with Better Reports, I can automatically schedule reports to be published to Google Sheets, and use Zapier to take the Google Sheets, and post those numbers in Slack... so it provides us a cool opportunity to have real flash report data whenever we need it, where we'll see it. So ultimately, it's worth it.

There is nothing else like this app.
