I use better reports for shopify on a daily basis. The number one reason to choose this reporting is that their customer service will help make custom reports if there is anything that it doesn't have out of the box.

There's a little bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, the reporting features are much more extensive than what Shopify offers natively. Also have had very positive, speedy responses from support.
