We installed BixGrow expecting a seamless affiliate tracking system where referral links would automatically attribute sales — without requiring customers to manually enter coupon codes.
However, it was not clearly communicated that in many cases customers still need to apply a coupon code for proper attribution. If that’s the setup, then the value proposition becomes questionable. We can simply generate and share coupon codes ourselves without needing an additional app.
The positioning of the feature feels misleading, as it suggests a smoother, more automated experience than what is practically delivered. As merchants, we rely on transparency before integrating tools into our store ecosystem.
Due to this lack of clarity, we have removed the app from our store. We hope the team improves communication around how tracking actually works so other merchants can make fully informed decisions.
While we value all feedback, we must clarify that BixGrow provides seamless affiliate tracking via referral links without requiring customers to manually enter coupon codes, as attribution occurs automatically upon a click. The specific "auto-apply coupon at checkout" feature is a premium automation included in our Scale plan, which is clearly detailed on our pricing page. Judging an app solely by its listing is insufficient, as those summaries highlight prominent features and link to full detail pages to provide a complete picture of functionality. Our system delivers exactly the automation it promises to those who select the appropriate plan; therefore, the only misleading element here is this review, which mischaracterizes our functionality and transparent documentation. We would appreciate it if you could take serious consideration before leaving app reviews. If you want every feature you need to be free, you can find other apps that offer everything for free - good luck with that.
I don't know how good the app is, but even if it is good, it would be overshadowed by the horrible support. I am new to affiliate marketing and the app. As I am going through the settings and asking support how their app knows when the affiliate shares just our website URL, the answer from support was "of course we know", then I went on asking what if the affiliate shares the URL over the phone... support did not even try to explain what the affiliate should share verbally and so on. Still, the response was "the affiliate should know..."I recommend trying out this app ReferrLy Affiliate Marketing, this has custom domain, and everything esle for $15. There are also other apps that support can explain via zoom.
Not particularly reliable in my opinion, I don't like the design and you can't change the language

We have always made it clear for our merchants by including all feature details in our pricing section that you can take a look at before choosing a plan. We have the intention of adding Hebrew to the language selection in the near future as well, so we'd really appreciate your kind patience in the meantime. They don't care about you as a customer. The app lacks many features, and when you talk to their customer service, they operate in 'liquidation mode' rather than focusing on solutions
Thank you for leaving a negative review although we are surprised to receive it, especially from you. You just installed the app and then wanted to use the Custom Domain feature (which is clearly stated as exclusive to the PRO plan) while you didn't want to upgrade to a paid plan for that. Unfortunately, we are unable to meet your needs like this as we need funds to further develop the app.
I signed up, filled out whatever was required.
Nothing.
Contacted support after a few weeks. They just directed me to some documentation.
I contacted them again last week. No reply.
I am uninstalling.
