This is the best blog comment app, and a few things about it stand out:
1) The customer service. I reached out to John about something and he responded to me right away and helped me out really quickly.
2) The blog comment interface is designed very simply, and it's very easy to use. You can make the changes in your settings extremely fast, because John wasted no space with the development.
3) Love how it looks on Shopify's blog when I reply to a commenter. Love that it appears within the original comment so it doesn't start this long, complicated Reddit-like thread.
4) It's a one-of-a-kind app. I tried to find other blog comment apps but I couldn't find any that didn't have any issues. I was honestly nervous that since Sunny was one-of-a-kind that it would be a bad app (since it could likely get away with it) but this developer went above and beyond to make sure this app is the best.
In other words, get this app. Comments help your blog posts' SEO, so if you run a blog, you need this app.

While I was shocked to find out that responding to blog comments wasn't native to Shopify, I'm really glad to have Sunny - Blog Comment Manager as an option. I think the comment section could be improved a little bit. I notice that when I get a comment and I respond, it's one big block with 1. their comment, 2. ---, 3. "my business" replied, 4. my response, 5. their name and the date. The order I'd like to see is 1. commenter's name, 2. the date, 3. their comment, 4. then in a separate box, I'd like to have my response in a similar setup but right underneath and a little to the right. Does that make sense? The app does what it's supposed to do.

Themes will format comments in different ways, sometimes with the names and dates at the top, sometimes at the bottom (like yours).
We've designed Sunny to be 'neutral', so that it looks good regardless of the theme formatting, but we are limited here, and always looking for ways to improve. Thanks again
