Support is good- it's a bit fiddly to get started but when it works, it works well. Would be nice if it imported images from Wordpress to shopify but for the price, it works well and saved us a bunch of time.
Just installed BlogFeeder and it's done exactly what I needed. The support is also awesome - got a reply from the team within 5 minutes and helped me with a minor issue I was having. Definitely recommended if you want a blog for your Shopify store!
Featured image not import from blog site, Hope import the "Featured image" sync!!!!!!!!! If can import Featured image, it will be Perfect!!!!
Hi Razful,
Thank you for your review.
Unfortunately, due to a technical limitation in the Shopify API, we are unable to import the blog images into your Shopify account. This means that even though they display on your Shopify blog, they are being served from your external blog. Due to this limitation, we also aren't able to populate the "featured image" field.
I'm sorry I don't have better news in this regard. If Shopify opens up the API to allow image imports, we will certainly investigate making this available.
Thank you for understanding.
Had to do some prep work on the source blog, but once that was done it literally was a click of a button. highly recommended.
Love it so far. I wonder if i can put automatic blog images!
Feature image didn't get transferred automatically to Shopify. I have to upload image at Shopify. It would have been a Perfect app if it does!
It won't work for me. i am trying to import a wordpress blog feed. it says it has synchronized but it doesn't appear. There is also no hints/tips or tutorials on how to use this app.
I love that this is saving me sooooo much time moving my blog to a new website! My only complaint is that the text transfers over, but not the images so I am having to go through all the posts one by one and fix that. If it did it automatically then I would totally give it 5 stars!
App doesn't work. Paid $14.99 for 72-hour access to the app. Well, it looks like I just got ripped off $15 - since the app won't identify our blog. I've tried repeatedly - entering the CORRECT URL for the blog that I needed to import. All I get is this error message... "Uh Oh! Feed is invalid" -- but that is simply not true.
Hi,
I am sorry you had a bad 1st experience while importing the posts. I can see you did get a moment to respond to our follow up message in your support request.
Would you be open to reply to it we iron out the issue for you?
Seems a little slow to work...will keep trying
