It does exactly what is says on the tin, however I do wish it synchronized faster.
Just installed BlogFeeder and it works great - Hope that it will update well better then last time!
is not transferring all the post
As much time as I don't have to spare and as fast-paced this world is nowadays, it would be nicer if the synchronizing took place instantaneously. Unless I'm missing something? Otherwise pretty straightforward, upload to Tumblr and it shows up on site eventually. Pretty cool, but could synch faster IMO.
This is definitely helpful, but there is a long time in the delay of posting on wordpress...and then it showing up in shopify. Wish that would improve.
It was just okay. It only brought in half of my wordpress blog feed. Support was responsive and good, but failed to fix the problem in time allocated - even thou they added an extension to my plan. I dont know how this would process large blogs, maybe suitable to smaller ones.
1 time option-blogger import B+ Wish I could edit "anonymous" after transfer. FB & IG not working, emails not answered
It is convenient to use but it doesn't sync properly leaving blank images and spaces when it displayed on Shopify blog page.
Imported the blog posts easily enough, but doesn't provide any facility to import images from them. As a result, if you're migrating from the old blog you need to manually go through each post and manually upload each image to Shopify - which sort of defeats the purpose.
Hi,
Thanks for your feedback.
The one thing to keep in mind is that due to a technical limitation in the Shopify API, we are unable to fully import the blog images into your Shopify account. This means that even though they display on your Shopify blog, they are being served from your external blog.
Okay, it worked very well for importing from Facebook, was a problem with Adobe Business Catalyst but we eventually got that worked out. The problem was with Adobe. The primary issue that lowered the ratings is that the app inserted code into the theme meta tags for canonical links to RSS that were wildly incorrect and created numerous 404 errors. Had to have shopify help to figure out what was causing the errors and how to delete it from the theme. Here is an example that appeared on all blog imports that created the issue.
