If you are on a Basic Shopify plan, the integration between Shopify & Uafrica is amazing, it's easy and simple and saves you from purchasing the more expensive plan as it allows you to save time when booking a courier to collect parcels - your addtional cost though is printing waybills unless you have the stickers/trackers provided by someone like the The Courier Guy. They are also able to offer you better pricing for courier charges due to large volumes. That's your 2 stars.
The bad part is the courier companies they have chosen to align themselves with, where the service is pathetic and some do not take resonsibility in an event where your parcel goes missing, stolen or gets lost in order for you to see which companies provide LIMITED liability cover, you have to read their policies etc on their website. In other words, if ANYTHING goes wrong Uafrica takes no responsibility and neither do the courier companies who do not provide you with this limited liability cover.
Think twice about choosing the cheaper courier companies as they give you the most problems namely: Internet Express & Skynet.
Uafrica has a brilliant setup which makes shipping easy, but they fail us businesses by not stepping in when there are issues relating to courier companies and their service. I feel as the "middle man" they should act on it, and should have all courier companies align to a set Uafrica policy and procedures rather than the couriers own. This would allow all parties to have a fair chance when disputes arise regarding poor service, theft & loss.
