Buddha Mega Menu & Navigation

Exactly what I had hoped for.....a great navigation app for our Shopify Store. Could not have been easier to install, or to use.

Love it! The free version by itself offers a ton a option, I havent tested paid version yet but I'm sure the quality is here too.

This solves the problem of not being easily able to create menus in Shopify.

I have been looking for something that makes my site look more professional. This app definitely does that. It was easy to set up and looks great on my site. When I had an issue, they answered and solved it quickly.

We were very pleased to learn the existence of this app as our vast product line-up [of automotive performance parts] dictates that we have a menu that enables customers to quickly find a product category and then drill down into sub-categories from there. It must be noted that the primary selling point for us is said ability to create sub-categories, sub-sub-categories, sub-sub-sub-categories and so on. However, due to limitations that Shopify places on the size of assets that can be saved in a shopify theme, this app was unable to handle the amount of product categories/products (20k +) that we had to organize within the app. As we got close to completing the build-out of our menu, the software crashed whenever we attempted to save the menu.

It is important to note that this could have been resolved if we made the decision to overall our design plans, but this is not something we were willing to do as we have data that shows it would be confusing to our customer base, and result in a fundamental change in the layout/flow of our site. The app team noted that one day they would change the way their data/storage is combined to be better optimized for Shopify's imposed limitations. It must be noted that we also reached out directly to shopify to increase said limitations, but they were unwilling to do so. As a result, we moved to a new menu solution that better compliments our business needs. Our site is in a beta launch: www.bolomotorsports.com

All in all, despite our situation, the app team was very helpful/responsive, additionally there are elements of their UI/backend management section that is easier to use. In the future, when we build another site with fewer assets, we would definitely consider this product again. Furthermore, I recommend it to anyone that is shocked that Shopify does not offer a native menu/categorization system and is in need of one -- with the understanding that you have less than 5k products/variants to implement within the platform.

Great app that helps me to make good navigation on my site. I'm using free version and it's great and recommend it.

I will give this 5 STARS as it is a godsend compared to the default menu the theme gives you, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement and I know the developers will read this and take on my issues.

1) It won't affect most users, but I have created a large categorized tabbed menu and I'm predicting in the future I will want to rearrange maybe alphabetically or some other order all the links within the 3 columns I've made. But you can only rearrange within a specific column and that is by the tedious nature of click arrow up or down. Ideally you should be able to DRAG and MOVE the links around and FROM COLUMN TO COLUMN. The up and down arrows are WAY TOO SMALL and too near the delete icon. So currently I will have to replan my 3 columns, delete and recreate my links and that is going to be a chore...

2) If I create a new Collection in Shopify and want to add this to a new menu item in Mega Menu that I already had open, I need to restart and initialize the Mega Menu app everytime which is a good 20 seconds of waiting.

Still I give it 5 stars as the final result is worthy of it and these issues won't get to most people who generally will have smaller stores than I'm creating.

I definitely recommend it, I am still using the free plan but it's working fine .

Great app that helped us get the menus as we wanted them. The support were also helpful with setting up so we got the right font in our menus because we are using a specific font.
