This app has been a lifesaver for us! We can finally have bundles that allow multiple instances of the same product with different variants AND that works with discount codes. We've tried many other bundle apps and this was the first one that could overcome both of those limitations. Additionally, Benny and his team were extremely quick to respond and helped out with many questions and input on CSS code strings that we could enter in the Shopify Theme Customiser "Custom CSS" fields to help us style the app to fit our site's branding. Thank you Benny & Team!

This app has made the bundling process much easier. It allows me to see the individual products that customers choose, rather than just the bundle, on the packing slip. Very helpful for filling orders and managing inventory!
After working with BYOB support they have fixed the issues we were having with shipping. Once the issue was completely understood, it took a few weeks to get a workable fix. Though I couldn't be happier. BYOB works perfectly and is the BEST build-your-own bundle system I have found.
No, the customers are only paying for the items they order. Only AFTER the order is paid, individual items are added to the order. Also, the shipping fee is not recalculated after the order is edited. Therefore, the customers don't pay extra shipping fees.
I think you should pair the bundle with a discount code. With discount code mode, only individual items are added to the cart. This mode can easily integrate with various inventory systems since everything is Shopify-native: https://support.ilovebyob.com/article/188-what-is-discount-code-bundle
You can also try the latest feature - auto-fulfill bundle items. The bundle items are marked as fulfilled during the order edit process. They will be excluded from shipping. According to my tests, the total weight only includes the individual items + package, whether you are buying a single label or multiple labels. Great for custom bundles/packages that have a solid UX interface that allows you to acheive promotions/bundles that you can't typically do with Shopify. Support was good and communication was fast, very helpful! Easy and straightforward.
