Calcurates: Accurate Shipping

We use Calcurates for our stores and its the first app we install on a new build.

It makes setting up shipping straight forward and most importantly accurate.

Even when we have complicated shipping procedures Nik and the team at Calcurates take the time to understand what we are trying to achieve and then offer the best solution for our circumstances, it is refreshing to be able to work directly with a team that takes the time to understand your business goals and be able to consistently offer an accurate solution.

When you get the hang of it it works like a charm! We have a complicated shipping process but Calcurates fits everything we need. Thanks to Nik for always responding to our messages and helping at basically any hour or day!

This app provides accurate shipping times on both the product page and checkout. It has customizable shipping names and options as well. It also has the ability to show what delivery date the customer was shown. Overall its a great all in one app for estimated delivery dates.

Extremely pleased with Calcurates app and Nik’s support – I’m store owner, not strong technical person, Nik showed me how to configure custom packaging for dimensional shipping, packaging rules for ship separately parcels, showed me how to test shipping using Activity Feed, practical settings for Address Validation. Whenever I’ve needed help with settings, configuration, testing rates, etc. Nik explains very clearly what I’m doing wrong and what I need to do. I’ve done fair amount of configuration with this app, our cart shipping functionality is working great, and I’m pretty sure I’m only using a small portion of what this app is capable of doing. Very powerful app and superb support. One undermarketed and underrated thing about this app is it's ability to customize the info messages in shopify checkout, which would otherwise not be possible if not on Shopify Plus. This gives you the ability to share things like expected delivery date, which in my opinion is superior to time in transit.

It seems that the developers have thought of almost everything and a few minor tweaks we requested were made quickly. Nik is also very receptive to product ideas and feedback. Because there are so many possibilities when it comes to shipping and product variations, the app is quite complex. Having said that, nearly everything is intuitively placed and we were able to configure this primarily on our own after a couple meetings and a handful of tickets. Highly recommend monitoring your activity feed after deployment to reveal things that may not be calculating as intended and to tweak settings - there were a number of possibilities we hadn't considered and were quickly able to solve for.
