The Canteen app allows merchants to easily collect fees they need to run their business. Canteen is an easy way to collect bottle deposits, environmental fees, setup fees, design fees, core charges, security deposits, order and product fees, adult signature fees, etc. The rule builder allows you to create the fee rules, update their thumbnails, set tax options and determine if the rule is one time, per cart or per product quantity.
- Fees are automatically added to the cart and checkout.

Canteen App has solved our problem of automatically applying deposit fees. A Key feature is that it works on Shopify POS and automatically applies the deposit fee when the product is scanned into the register.
Responsive customer service, helped us through some early glitches where fees weren't linking correctly. Smooth sailing since then.
Linking different deposits/fees for different sized options cannot be done with product variants. You must create independent products and link deposits/fees to each item.
The support team has been so amazing with helping us implement a pretty complicated staff gratuity service fee situation. The app wasn’t working how we needed it to at first but the support team responded immediately with solutions, ideas and even built some of the fees themselves to get it working how we envisioned. Thankful for this super dedicated team that got everything working for us.
App works great and customer service/troubleshooting was friendly and efficient.
