What do you do to offset my products?

  • Using the guidelines set by the Environmental Protection Agency, we calculate the carbon footprint of each product in an order. If we have data from the manufacturer we use that instead. We try to be as precise as possible and work on our algorithm every day to make it better.
  • We then use certified carbon offsets to remove the carbon footprint of each order. The selected offsets we use are verified by Verified Carbon Standard, Gold Standard, and DNV-GL, the premier standardization of carbon offsets. They are transparent, traceable and trusted.

This app is amazing! The developers actually take the time to look at EACH item in your store, and make a calculation on how much CO2 it would produce. Also quick support and they are open to new features. I would highly recommend.

The CarbonCroc team not only knows what they are doing with their A+ emissions calculator, they are also doing it with passion. The app is regularly updated and works well in the background of our store so that we really only have to visit it once a month when we do our part to make our emissions payment. From there, they handle everything and are always open to feedback. We like to have our public impact page readily available to share with customers and clients. They make doing good easy. We love CarbonCroc!
