Cart Block: checkout validator

I had a great experience with Abhi who helped me set up a cart block validation!

There are a few things that can be tricky to set up...BUT FEAR NOT!! This support staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have the settings just right. Sometimes it takes a couple Validations to get things set up.

The only way you are getting frustrated is if you don't use the in app chat to get connected to those who can help you most.

Great features and works flawlessly so far!

Fabio has been so helpful in getting us set up to use cartblock. Our situation was a bit complicated, and he sorted it all out for us! This app does exactly what it says..it provides a clean way to block customers from checking out based on rules you set up.

This a very promising app and beneficial for merchants who need to block certain customers or orders on their store.

The support team is absolutely amazing and took the time to meet with me to resolve some issues with the app. The reason we gave it 4 stars is because there are still some issues depending on how you decide to block customers (there are multiple scenarios you can choose from). This isn't necessarily an issue with the merchant itself as there are some limitations with developing an app for Shopify. However, if you run into any issues we recommend contacting them for a one-on-one call before giving up.

We highly recommend this app. There are not many options for this functionality (and honestly this may be the only one).

Great customer support. Actually AMAZING customer support.
I was unable to get a validation tuned to effectively block a BOT attack.
Customer support tech Andrea set up an online call where we worked through the process to arrive at solution.
He spent the time to get it right and then stay on the line to test the validation to ensure that it worked correctly.
Five stars isn't high enough for this kind of support.

Dealing with bots abandoning checkout because they are attempting different credit card numbers. This app allows me to set up rules to block these bots from checking out. They will still try but their attempts will be futile, so if they come across and use a card number that works, it will be blocked. In time they have slowed down as I believe it sees my store as not being able to do what they want.

It is working when you can identify bots as having similar profiles (in this case they all use the same fake address and phone area code) if bots change their strategy you have to find the commonality and set up another block.

10/10 recommend this app - very functional and amazing customer service!

Love Cart Block app. This is by far the most versatile and flexible in terms of blocking rules.

Many apps promised email, address and phone number blocks but will require you to entre the exact value. Cart Block is the only app that offers "fuzzy block" rule where you can block checkouts containing certain values.

My store was hit by card testers, who were using my payment gateway to test stolen credit cards. With Cart Block app, it mitigated the risk with payment gateway. I tried many apps like Blockify, BoosterMark, Negate etc. None of them were as flexible as Cart Block.

When I reached out for support, Andrea replied promptly and implemented additional blocking parameters for me to use. This level of customer-centric approach plus the flexibility of the app means that I was able to ward off attempts at credit card fraud.

I will highly recommend this app to any merchants who experience card tester fraud issues, or anyone who requires product or geo blocking rules implemented at checkout.

I stumbled across this APP. For me it is fantastic and after 1 week of using it it has generated some good income which I was not having before.

For me a wanted to block certain products from being sold to specific countries, rather than blocking the entire country. Shopify as standard blocks the whole country by removing the specific country from checking out..... however Cart Block does it differently.

Well worth the monthly fee.

Tech support was great. I had to use theor tech support and I was quickly invited to a video call and within a few hours the initial issues were sorted and the APP was creating turnover!

Excellent app! We had BOTS card testing on our webstore and tried a few other apps that just didn't work. As of today, the BOTS are gone! Cart Block was simple to use and set up. We had minor issue at the beginning found out we had to update our checkout for this to work properly. Andrea was extremely helpful and was able to hop on a call with me. Thanks again! Looking forward to see what other apps you have to offer.
