Absolutely HORRENDOUS experience.
People if you value your business, your website, your livelihood then stay FAR FAR away from these people.
I paid $259 to transfer my store over from magento to shopify, $259 is alot but im FINE with that if it worked out.
My biggest problem was when there app did not work well with magento even though they claim it does and all my "configurable" products did not transfer.
When i emailed them i did not get responses for 3 days at a time and when i did get responses you can tell they didnt take more then 30 seconds to look into it (or maybe they didnt speak english), meanwhile my entire site was down. After over a week of trying to get them to fix it i had to hire a local web dev local to do it.
I then emailed them thank you for trying but please refund me as i hired a local dev.
They would not refund my $259 for nothing! they said they cannot refund me it is against there policy.
STAY AWAY!, I SHOULD HAVE READ ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE GOING WITH THESE PETTY INTERNATIONAL CROOKS.
Horrible experience. They destroyed my formatting during migration. 24 hour support is non-existent, every person tries to shift you to someone else who also won't help you. I had to file a Paypal claim to get my money back. Don't use this service, try somewhere else. They are a joke and I cannot believe Shopify is allowing them to operate.
We have to move 7 years of data and almost 100k orders from Magento to Shopify. Cart2Cart team really helped with making the process smooth as possible. Oleksander was quite helpful in communicating and taking care of some of the issues during the transfer. Glitches will happen and issue will arise when transferring so much information but overall we are very happy with using Cart2Cart and recommend you giving them a try for your migration needs.
Thanks for the awesome review! We do our best to meet our customers' expectations, and we’re glad to know that you've had a good experience with us. We'll send your kind words to Oleksander and those who’ve been working with you throughout the process. Once again, thank you for using our service and we wish you all the best with your new store.
This is the first time I'm migrating to Shopify and it saved me a ton of time. I came from Magento and the migration tool brought over all of the products, pages, orders and customers. I paid extra for the mapping of categories and redirect setup. The biggest thing is make sure you understand your store and what will and will not be migrated. This will ensure you select the correct options when buying this.
Everything worked out great, even with the initial issues regarding the connection and starting the full migration. I was assisted all the way and everything was sorted out quickly.
Great support, great product. Thank you Kate for helping me out, you're the best!
was not an easy task and was expensive. Many items were missing after the migration and the "tags" and "collections" were completely messed up. It took DAYS to edit the products to get everything right. And there were a bunch of add ons needed so it cost almost $400 and for that price it should have been pretty clean but it wasnt. Needs serious updating. Migrated from Big Commerce to Shopify.
EDIT: SO after trying to update the migration, i tried to use the "insurance" to remigrate. AND IT DELETES ALL OF YOUR WORK!!! DO NOT BUY THE INSURANCE!!!! IT'S WORTHLESS
very easy simple app to use, great customer service and helpful.
will recommend some friends.
Nice work!
Although it was fast and easy-it did not import everything. All of my sales pages did not import any of the images/video/descriptions. They all imported as very basic product pages. I had to use PageFly to redesign everything. Blog posts did not import either. Regular webpages did not import (I have over 150 web pages on my website) and you'd have to rebuild every single page, BUMMER. I am bummed out because none of this was mentioned on their website and I could not get a refund. But it appears this is the only option available right now for WEEBLY to SHOPIFY migration.
Also if you have digital downloads on your website-they will not migrate. I learned this the hard way when a customer purchased a digital download and never received it. You will need to download a DOWNLOAD app from Shopify and manually upload those files. I would give this app 5 stars had they only stated all of these issues in advance.
your reviews will not be imported either (again not mentioned on their website) so you will need to export them from your old site and import them to Shopify. Weebly does not let you export reviews so I had to copy and paste into a csv file. It was a good alternative but would have been nice to know in advance. Left me really frustrated after my migration to see so many things missing.
Hi Deja,
We are extremely sorry you had to do so much manual work to bring over all the data to your new Shopify store.
Unfortunately, due to peculiarities of certain platforms, sometimes it's impossible to move certain data entities.
Nevertheless, we are doing our best to show our customers what data exactly can be migrated for their specific Source and Target platform - this information is presented at the product pages. Basically, we list only items that can be moved, and don't mention the data that cannot be migrated.
We have double-checked the Weebly to Shopify migration page, and it does contain the note about the migration of downloadable products, plus there are no reviews, blog posts, or pages in the list of entities that can be transferred to Shopify.
Still, it might be a good idea to make this info more prominent, so we'll work on this.
Thank you for your feedback!
I used this app to transfer order history from wix to shopify and it worked well. The team were really helpful during the process and answered questions promptly.
the worst service ever used. bad import service, it has a lot of problems. the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE i ever used. using this application is a nightmare, costs are crazy and will give you a lot of problems. you will realize that importing products manually is better.
Hi Diego,
First off, please accept our apologies for the situation with your migration that didn't work out as it should. The issue has been already investigated by our technical engineers, but they couldn't fix it due to the blocking of our IPs by your hosting provider (whitelisting our IPs can help).
Our support managers have already reached out to you with the suggested solution. We will do everything we can to make sure your migration issues are fixed as soon as possible.
Kind regards,
Cart2Cart Team
