I don't think the permission is needed since the gift/discount is free. I'd like to see that be an option and it still adheres to Shopify guidelines since it specifically states if the gift is free it CAN be added to a cart.

We have sent you an email about this, but haven't yet heard back from you.
I want to let you know that we recently released a feature, which allows our app to detect if a 100% discount is applied on the added product through the Bundler app and if 100% discount is applied, then the Cartbot will suppress the popup and will directly add the product to the cart, as this still adheres to the Shopify guidelines.
To enable this feature simply go into Cartbot > Settings > Integrations and enable the “Bundler integration” checkbox.

Works sometimes and its too late to contact support to get it fixed. When I have a promo I cannot wait a few days to get the issue fixed.

support is not good. contacted around 24 hrs back or more, no response yet. issue is auto add products are not appearing all the time on time, sometimes they only appear after i refresh the cart page. and by default auto add products doesnt come immediately after cart page opens, but it takes 3 secs most of the time to appear. slow app. looking for alternatives.
App is basic but works just fine.
Do not have real use for it right now, no option to discount extra item added to cart.
