Here is the list of Chameleon actions we can do for you:

  1. Hide products instantly: is a real-time feature that acts as soon as Shopify records a change to the product, such as when a customer places an order which lowers your product's inventory.
  2. Hide/Unhide products on schedule: provides the same functionality but independently from Shopify events.
  3. Unhide products instantly: is a real-time feature and acts the same as the "Hide products instantly".
  4. Excluded Tags: exclude those products that you do not want to be affected by the Hide/Unhide actions.
  5. Future Product Tagging: the feature is an alternative to Shopify's item scheduling section. One of the limitations Chameleon covers well is publishing to ALL of your configured sales channels rather than just to the "Online Store" channel.

Of all the apps we have used (and there are many), the support team for this app is the best we've encountered. They are SO responsive and helpful and the app is great, with a lot of flexibility to hide products on a schedule or based on tags and a number of other features. Highly recommend!

First of all, the app is easy to use and easy setup. Secondly, the customer service is excellent, which they respond within hour, although we are not at the same time zone. Once they found the problem, they helped to do the troubleshooting immediately. This is a very good experience and strongly recommend this app to all merchants

I am disappointed in the way that it is implemented. The app hides the product by removing it from the sales channel. If you have other products removed from the sales channel, then they will now all be mixed with no way to differentiate between them. And if any of your intentionally removed products from the sales channel have inventory, then they will end up back in your store, even if you don’t want them there. Btw...if you decide to remove the app, then all of your sold out products will remain removed from the sales channel.

I gave the developer a simple change to make which will avoid these issues. If it is implemented or a different fix is implemented, then I might be willing to try it again - but not without backing up first. It should have been made clear on the description that removing the app will leave everything removed from the sales channel. It says it on the developer’s independent website, but not in the Shopify app store which is where we usually make the decision to try it.
