worst support. still getting chargebacks without any alerts. first time support said everything is done , no need from my side. but i still got chargeback without alert and this time they said they told to put email but what is the need of email when i always refresh the dashboard. they said it might be some glitch. idk what is going on behind their screen. firstly, they said the cards will be updated within 3-4 days but i have to wait 2 weeks just to get the cards completely processed. it's been more than a month or almost month that i have installed this app. but still getting chargebacks without a single alert on dashboard. worst app on shopify tbh. may they take this review seriously.
-EDIT: Proof of LIES and delayed service (Timeline inside)
Edit: I am writing this after the developer replied to my previous review. I have gone through my chat logs, and their reply contradicts the evidence.
The developer claims the issue was an "incorrect billing descriptor" and that their process only takes "4-5 days." Here is the factual timeline proving otherwise:
1. The "Active" Lie (Janry) You replied that the descriptor was incorrect and that's why it failed. However, on November 7, I asked your support agent Janry specifically if RDR was active. Janry replied: "I can confirm that your RDR enrollment status is already active and live in your account." Because of this confirmation, I left you a 5-star review. The Reality: It was NOT active. 4 days later (Nov 11), I received a chargeback with no alert. Why did your agent confirm it was "live" if the descriptor was wrong? This proves your team does not check the backend before giving answers.
2. The Descriptor Blame Game You claim the "Shopify billing descriptor provided during setup was incorrect." My payment method was verified and enrollment explicitly started on Oct 22 (confirmed by agent Michelle Marie). I was not told the descriptor was wrong until Nov 11, when I had to chat with agent Alexa. Alexa had to ask me for a screenshot of my settings to identify the error. Question: Who is the expert here? Me or you? Why did it take 20 days and me initiating a chat for you to catch a setup error? If your agent Janry had actually checked on Nov 7, this would have been caught then.
3. The "4-5 Days" Myth In your reply, you corrected me saying the timeframe is "4-5 days, not 3-4." Let’s look at the dates:
Enrollment Started: Oct 22 (Payment verified)
Michelle Marie says "submission in progress": Oct 29
Janry blames "Verifi delays": Nov 1
Actual Fix by Alexa: Nov 11 Total wait: 20 Days. You are arguing about a 1-day difference while ignoring the 20 days my business was left vulnerable because your team didn't catch a descriptor error.
4. Poor Support Response (Alexa) On Nov 11, during the critical fix, your agent Alexa stopped responding for nearly 30 minutes (12:32 AM to 12:58 AM). I had to message "are you going to fix?" to get a response. For a service dealing with financial disputes, this latency is unacceptable.
Conclusion Do not blame the customer for an "incorrect descriptor" when your own staff confirmed the service was "Active" a week prior. You accepted my money and my positive review while the service was broken.
Hi there, and thank you for sharing your feedback. We want to clarify a few important points, as some details in your review don’t align with what actually occurred.
First, your comment here contradicts the positive Trustpilot testimonial you posted on November 7, 2025, where you mentioned that our RDR service was “worth the wait.” At that time, you acknowledged the service worked as expected once enrollment was completed.
Regarding the enrollment timeline: our published processing window is 4–5 business days, not 3–4 days. The delay you experienced was caused by Verifi’s system migration and the unusually high volume of enrollment tickets that followed. This affected many merchants globally, and was outside of our control. We informed you of this throughout the process.
As for the chargeback that wasn’t captured: this was not a system failure. It happened because the Shopify billing descriptor provided during setup was incorrect. Once our team identified this, we corrected it immediately. With the right descriptor now in place, Mastercard disputes will be captured properly moving forward.
We truly value your business, and we hope this clarification helps. If you have any further questions or need help reviewing your settings, our support team is always here to assist.
I had an issue that needed urgent attention, and the support team responded immediately. They resolved my concern quickly and efficiently. I truly appreciate the fast and helpful service I couldn’t have asked for better support!
We had been looking for a good tool like Chargeblast for a long time. They promised to bring our chargeback rate close to zero, and they delivered. What they do better than any other platform I've used:
a) keep it simple - they alert us of chargebacks and make it easy to resolve them
b) match the alerts to transactions in Shopify, with a list of potential matches if there's not a perfect match. this was a HUGE pain for the team when we were going direct with Verifi and Ethoca
c) automate refunds and/or subscription cancellations (based on our own rules/criteria)
Their team is super responsive, and for the most part the tool just runs in the background and we don't have to think about it - which is the goal. Glad we found them, and highly recommend to any business with significant chargeback volume.
