DO NOT INSTALL CHARGEFLOW. HUGE MISTAKE.
I had this app installed on my store for a couple of years, and I seriously regret it.
Before using Chargeflow, I handled my own chargebacks and won around 90% of them. I would maybe lose 1 out of 10.
When Chargeflow handled the cases, I lost basically 10 out of 10. The only cases I actually won were the ones where I submitted the evidence myself.
Their responses look like generic copy-and-paste templates. No real strategy, no strong custom evidence, nothing that actually feels built for your order. If you are a merchant, you are honestly better off uninstalling this app and using ChatGPT to help you write your own chargeback response. It will give you something more detailed than a lazy generic template.
The fees are the worst part. I lost over $4,000 just in Chargeflow fees because they take 25%. Even when I did the work myself, submitted the evidence myself, and won the claim myself, they still charged me just because the app was installed on my store. That is insane.
I sell high-ticket products, so one dispute can be expensive. If they take 25% from a case they did not even properly handle, that adds up fast.
Also, if the same customer files the chargeback again or the case gets reopened, you can get charged again. So you can win, pay them, then deal with the same dispute again and get charged again. You can literally end up losing money even after winning.
This app did not protect my store. It cost me thousands and made chargebacks worse.
My advice: do not install Chargeflow. Uninstall it, handle your own claims, upload your own proof, and use ChatGPT if you need help writing the response.
Never again.
CHARGEFLOW WILL LOSE YOUR CASES AND TRY TO STEAL YOUR BANK INFO.
Chargeflow submitted my chargeback before their own 5-day evidence window closed, so my proof was never included and I lost the case.
They promised a refund but it’s been over a month of excuses (false claims my store was closed, “sent” via Stripe, now PayPal with “issues”). Six weeks later, they’re still emailing me after I told them to stop and asking for my bank info. They also offered a PayPal refund only if I remove my review.
Any decent business would give the refund and ask AFTER to reconsider. The audacity to hold a refund I am owed hostage is wild.
You can easily respond to chargebacks yourself with the help of AI. You don't need this scam company.
Absolutely shocked by Chargeflow internal Policies. BEWARE. In order to set up your account they will charge $100 as a temporary hold on your card. At no point in the process was I notified of this and I still cannot believe that this happened. I have installed many apps who perform a similar verification of your card, but usually with only $1. $100 is completely unnecessary and with no notice too, it is completely unacceptable.
I would Like to add that I was Very Impressed with the support from Jason, he made set up feel very easy. But I am left very upset by this decision and the cold corporate email from their billing department outlining their policy:
"At the moment, this is outside our scope, as it’s a company policy that applies to all customers who enroll in our service."
Whether it applies to all customers or not does not make the policy correct and in this instance, I believe it makes the situation even worse.
I will be looking for an alternative.
Since we implemented this app, we lost all the chargebacks we got. Comparatively with before where we used to win about 30-40% of the cases
I was charge $100 without any notice by Chargeflow during set up. This charge is only temporary however this does not make it right. I have successfully subscribed to many apps who complete this type of verification however they usually charge only $1. $100 is unacceptable and when I contacted their support to question this, I was met with a very corporate style 'policy' message which was a extreme contrast to the friendly and personable approach I received from Jason in their customer support team. 5 Stars for Jason. 0 Stars for Chargeflow. I will be looking at their competitors to find an alternative.
Jason was great at helping set up my account. Be prepared for a bit of a wait for support but once they get to you, they are super responsive, friendly and professional. Now Chargeflow is set up, I am looking forward to seeing what it can do for my business.
The help from the team was good everything is setup now, having my first chargeback. Let's hope for the best.
UPDATE: DON'T USE THIS APP, My chargeback has been lost. Now the customer has his money back and a free product. It's better to provide the proof yourself, a lot or promises but 0% results. Also my Shop Pay is deactivated because of this chargeback. I don't recommend it!
App lags constantly.

Horrible experience with this company. We had a win rate of around 30% and they do not even reach out to remind you to submit additional information that can be helpful, they just submit a prompt from chatGPT and call it a day. You're better off submitting more compelling evidence yourself, on top of that we were charged an 8% cancellation fee.
We were very satisfied with Chargeflow during the first year of using their service. Unfortunately, in recent months the quality of service has declined significantly.
We had a negotiated price of $29 for alerts, yet we were charged $39 and the request for a refund was refused. Additionally, the Alerts feature does not perform as advertised. Instead of the claimed 90% effectiveness, our actual results were closer to 50%.
Regarding chargeback management, the 25% fee they take on recovered chargebacks is among the highest in the market. Several competitors now offer comparable or better results at a much lower cost.
Based on our recent experience, we cannot recommend the app in its current state.
