Shopify Collabs

1. Older signup process was better, I seem to remember it just had social handles to add?
2. The confirmation emails to applicants need to be able to be customised with a template. The default wording should be editable.
3. There should be an option to contact confirmed applicants, in segments/tiers, or send them newsletters or even contact them individually.

My account was grandfathered into Collabs from Dovetale. I have spent 2 days trying to invite and receive an invitation to collab with another business owner. We both sent emails and messages and have not received any answers to what would be a simple solution. This app used to be so easy to use before it changed to collabs. I'm very disappointed. It has good features, but it's useless if you can't properly invite or register to use them.

Dovetale requires you to connect your PayPal account to make payments to your creators and influencers. We have never been able to make payments and PayPal has absolutely no clue what this app is to offer help.

App is useless. Can't set up commissions, can't add/modify tiers, can't pay influencers and can't get a response for trouble tickets. The Dovetale intergration was easy to use, manage and set up. The switch the Shopify Collabs has been terrible.

There's a lot of work to do here in terms of making influencers not hate the signup flow. On our side, the UI continues to be weirdly unintuitive even after years of using it.

Extra star deducted because the app just straight up stopped working on our store recently with no warning. We just discovered a little message saying "this app may not work as expected. Collabs needs to be updated by the app developer. Contact them for support or uninstall the app." Considering Shopify is the developer, you'd expect them to have this sort of thing covered.

Hands down, the best customer service we have dealt with in the software space. Attentive team, fantastic UI, helpful how-to brand videos and easily optimized so we can easily manage tasks without taking up the entire day.

We made the decision to switch over to Dovetale from another affiliate/influencer management platform and it has been one of the best company decision's we've made thus far. Dovetale has a beautiful onboarding experience for our affiliates and we've seen a higher affiliate sign-up rate as a result. The platform also has much cleaner and more sophisticated dashboard views to track affiliate analytics. Following up with affiliate influencers has been significantly easier as a result. We also love using the Discover feature to look for additional affiliates to join our ambassador program. Previously we were paying for 2 separate tools and now we're saving a ton more money by just using Dovetale for affiliate management & sourcing. Our entire team has been highly impressed with the responsiveness of the Dovetale team. They respond to all of our feature requests / suggestions in a timely manner, while providing timeline estimates on when new features will ship. It's been so refreshing to see such amazing customer service. We've been telling everyone in our network to make the switch to Dovetale. It's such a no-brainer.

With Dovetale, we're able to get specific with the types of influencers we want to work with. Great app and superb customer service!
