Here is an update to my experience with Collective Fab.
I simply can't wait to cancel my subscription with Collective Fab! I hope I can prevent at least one person from making the same mistake that I made. I signed up with Collective Fab when they were still Bella Vi. I suspect they changed their name because of all the negative reviews? When Salehoo no longer had them featured (as a result of the feedback) I should have canceled my account. After being promised positive changes (still waiting..), I decided to stay a little longer. By the way, the video tutorials have been advertised since early fall 2016..
I simply do not understand how poorly (to say it the least) this "business" is run. If you're a scam-artist, it's brilliant!
Do not expect to have your emails responded to. Unless your signing up with them, you won't see anything in your inbox from them. Never any information about what is going on or future plans. I am so disappointed that I let my self spend time and money with these scammers. Absolutely nothing of what is advertised is accurate. Nothing! You should check out www.urbanog.com, this might be where the focus of Collective Fab is. Their facebook page is also pretty awesome. Once your at it, why not google Collective Fab and Bella Vi reviews. Better Business Bureau also have some good information.
Anyway, the turnkey website is easily made yourself. With some help from the Shopify team (who are awesome and patient), you can make something MUCH better. For $100, Collective Fab can also make a logo for your store. I never received my logo that I was promised at the end of July 2016. Spend your $100 at something else. Do not trust that their inventory is accurate, even though you update your own store everyday. Also, it is MUCH faster to upload each category by themselves, instead of uploading everything at the same time.
When I finally had some orders, I was not provided with tracking number until long after the order. With another order, I suddenly had a refund back to me without any explanation. I couldn't figure out which items that were not shipped from Collective Fab to my customer. Of course, the customer was not pleased with her shopping experience and I haven't had any order since.
I am so disappointed with Collective Fab and I don't understand that they (L. and K. Wynn) can sleep at night. I hate to leave a bad review, but this is 100% true facts in my experience with Collective Fab. Karma is a b..ch!
I signed up with Collective Fab (former Bella Vi) in July, after reading about them on Salehoo. For me, the turnkey option was definitely worth it. If you have the time, and is a little bit more computer-savvy than me, you could probably make the website yourself and only pay to use their inventory. Anyway, after purchasing the turnkey website, you have to pay Shopify the monthly fee, and get the Collective Fab app (another monthly fee) to access the latest inventory. The Collective Fab app has a chat service that is pretty awesome. Josh, Emily and Kevin are very friendly and respond quickly. That is, if you contact them during their business hours. It took some time to figure out how to upload the inventory and sync it to my store. I thought this would be an automatic process, but it's not. I was recommended downloading the latest files at least every other day, so that my inventory stays up to date. When you figure out how to do this, it is not difficult or time consuming. I had to refund two customers because I wasn't aware of this myself. I have yet to place an order with the company and hope the shipping process goes smoothly. I hope to update my review soon, and give them the last fifth star.
