Shopify Collective: Supplier

Shipping options need to be fixed! The shipping payments CAN NOT be calculated based on what the retailer website charges or does not charge for shipping to an end consumer because those rules are based on end user pricing rules, whereas all things on Collective are based on WHOLESALE rules! Therefore different shipping rules need to be coded within Collective to allow all of us to set such rules otherwise we have to do 'manual', and that defeats the entire purpose of Collective in taking the 'work' out of suppliers and retailers.

This is mostly great. The problems are as follows:

- Being able to limit ship from locations by retailer (we have a Canadian and USA warehouse and don't want to cross-border ship)
- product offering able to be selected down to the variant level

it would be nice to be able to use shopify catalogs to add products, or a specific collection, or even just a tag. Having to manually add products to this, when we're already tagging them and adding them to catalogs is an extra step.

We also have some "free shipping over $xxx" that doesn't integrate with this.

Other than that, it's pretty seamless and easy to use.

Great concept. Seems like most "retailers" use it to buy product and get a percentage paid to them for doing so.

Would be perfect if this app had a feature to select specific variants within parent products to share with retailers. If it had that, this would be perfect for us, without it, the app is unusable for our setup.

We have digital variants on most of our products that we need to exclude from sending to retailers. This is not possible with the current options in this app.

I love this app, it opens up our world to sell our products on other websites. The downside is: Retailers can control whether your product listings pictures, title or description auto refresh when you make an update or what content on your product description they want to show on their website. It feels like I am juggling 5 different websites. I have to contact the retailer and ask them to make an update. On one collective website's, the photos don't refresh (the title and product description refreshes). On another collective website, the product description doesn't refresh (the title and photos refresh.) On another website, none of it refreshes when I make the update on my website.

Experience was good. But the upcoming changes I do not like. I have a 20% Retailer Margin. If the retailes charge more for my items, the percentage should stay the same.

Great app for connecting brands and product discovery. Hoping for better analytic reporting in the future.

overall decent. We need a better way to bulk edit products in price lists. there is no export or import function, nor a way to easily see the SKUs in the price list

I'd like better reporting, being able to filter by dates, create reports on performance per retailers, etc
