We were among the first users of Collective and it's been such a lifesaver for our business. Gone are the days when we would send orders via email, copy and paste tracking numbers, pay vendors manually, update inventory manually or via scripts, and manually import products. Because of the native integration with Shopify, there is really no other app that has been able to match all of Collective's features.

It's unfortunate that suppliers don't take in account that retailers have to take responsibility for payment processing fee's on the total order, when determining the commission fee for selling their products. Because the commission fee is only given on the item total, not the total order. In most cases retailers are losing money when a product is sold, especially when shipping cost is added! We have had to delete many suppliers for this reason alone. Payment processing fee should be added automatically to the commission. This is suppose to be a win/win for both parties and it's not. RETAILERS BEWARE OF THIS!

Love it overall. But more functions are needed. It would be nice if there was a feature to filter out listings that have no inventory.

We are loving Collective at The Mayfair Hall.
Suggestions:
-Be able to sort products that are available to import from current vendors (new to old for example).

We've been using Collective since 2023 and it was great then and even better now! Amazing how much feedback has been received + implemented by the team at Shopify over the timeframe. Each day we're finding more great brands and products to add to our store and Collective's Discover feature is a huge part of that. Between us and the many supplier brands we've partnered with it's been a "no-brainer" not only for the ease of launching, but also for the new sales channel growth.

Does not pull customer email for providing shipping information. Does pull Name, address and phone, but not the purchasers email.

Hello there! I'm sorry to hear that your experience with Collective wasn't ideal. However, please note that we do not share customer email with suppliers as the retailer owns the customer relationship within a Collective transaction.

To share shipping information with customer, you can simply upload tracking information to the order from your admin, which will then be passed onto the retailer and the customer.

We need the ability to modify retails (like with Synclogic). Collective has room for improvement - need to be able to better sort items to import especially from larger catalogs. It would also be great if the Shopify tags would import over, too.
